Cambridge Police responded to an apartment complex on Temple Street for a report of a past larceny. Upon talking with the reporting person it was discovered that no criminal crime was committed, only a civil matter.

OXFORD ST

A local university employee called Cambridge Police Department to report a past theft which occurred on 2/01/2018. She took a ride share to a Cambridge address and was in the process of taking several bags out of the car when the driver took off before she retrieved all the bags. She has since called the rideshare company numerous times but they refuse to contact the driver. The contents of the bag are worth more than $300.

PROSPECT ST

A resident of Revere was summonsed for making an improper turn and Operating with a Suspended License after he was stopped for making an improper turn at the intersection of Massachusetts Ave and Prospect Street and was subsequently found to have a revoked driver’s license.

LARCENY FROM BUILDING c266 S20

GREEN ST

Members of the Cambridge Police Special Investigations Unit arrested Mark Anthony Garcia-Almarante, 22, of 9 Delle Ave, Boston, Marcel Sedeno, 19, of 20 Oakwood Street, Hyde Park, and two male juveniles from Boston and charged them with Larceny from a Building. Detectives observed all four males assist in the theft of two packages from a secured residential building on Green Street. Each male played a role in the removal of this package from its residence and be moved to the trunk of a motor vehicle occupied by all four males.

Cambridge Police responded to Carl Barron Plaza, located at the intersection Massachusetts Avenue and River Street in Cambridge, for the report of an assault. After a brief investigation it was determined that this incident was an unarmed robbery.
