A disabled Cambridge resident was pushed down to the ground by a male and robbed of a purse, ID, cash, and credit cards in the Fresh Pond area. A suspect has been identified and an investigation is ongoing.

A Saugus resident reports that a 2013 Ford was broken into while it was parked in a garage on Mt. Auburn Street. The resident reports the driver’s side window of the motor vehicle was shattered and the suspect entered the motor vehicle. The suspect stole a purse and headphones.

Cambridge Police responded to Evereteze Way in Cambridge on the second floor for a disturbance. Kedwin Cruz, 21, 363 Everteze Way in Cambridge, was arrested for malicious destruction of property over $250 and assault and battery. Cruz admitted to breaking his neighbors window and pushing him.

Juan Montero, 51, 780 Albany Street in Boston, was arrested for Assault and Battery and for a warrant issued by Boston District Court for a Miscellaneous Municipal Bylaw/Ordinance Violation. Police responded to a disturbance in which Montero had verbally harassed and shoved a bystander following an argument that Montero was having with another party, Montero was subsequently found to have a warrant.

CAMBRIDGESIDE PL
Cambridge Police responded to an electronics store in regards to suspicious activity. Store employees stated that three males entered the store and attempted to purchase $12,962.87 worth of merchandise. Employees stated that the males were asking staff for the most expensive items and they appeared to be grabbing high-end electronics indiscriminately. One of the males (identified as John Jorgenson, 37, 17 Court Road in Boston) attempted to pay for the merchandise using somebody else's store credit card account. Jorgenson was placed under arrest for Identity Fraud for attempting to use somebody else's social security number to gain access to their credit card account in order to purchase merchandise. The other two suspicious males were identified and released from the scene.
