Alex Melendez, 41, of 1135 Broadway, Chelsea, was arrested at Cambridgeside Place on a warrant issued out of Boston District Court for Assault with a Dangerous Weapon. After being called to this location to confirm the identity of a shoplifter in custody, it was determined that Mr. Melendez had a warrant and was arrested. The business did not wish to pursue shoplifting charges.
