Cambridge Police responded to a Roosevelt Towers address to document a larceny report. Upon arrival, officers spoke to the reporting person who stated various valuable maintenance tools and products have been stolen from the building sometime between 01/24/2018 and 03/27/2018.

An employee of a university reported a case of identity theft and attempted fraud. A suspect had used his identity in an attempt to make purchases of technological equipment this month totaling over $70,000.

A Putnam Avenue resident reported being harassed by a former acquaintance. The suspect has been posting false information about her and her family on Facebook which is drawing in other people to harass them further.

MASSACHUSETTS AVE
Cambridge police arrested Malik Leviner, 19, 2207 Dorchester Avenue in Dorchester, for Assault and Battery, Disorderly Conduct, Resisting Arrest and Trafficking Cocaine.  Officer observed Malik assault a male party outside of Massachusetts Avenue. When officers approached, they identified themselves as Cambridge Police and told Leviner to stop. He then ran from the police. An officer pursued Leviner on foot for approximately 800 feet while commanding him to stop. Leviner ran into a construction site, where he threw a bag containing cocaine while attempting to elude police. Officers were able to recover 25.2 grams of cocaine.
