Cambridge Police responded to a business to document a breaking and entering to a motor vehicle report. Upon arrival, officers spoke to the reporting person, who stated on 3/27/2018 between 12 p.m. and 2 p.m., an unknown suspect gained access to her motor vehicle without her knowledge and/or consent, while it was parked unattended inside a parking garage and stole her laptop computer.

A Cambridge resident reported he received two separate threatening phone calls this morning from an unknown individual, which has put him in fear of his well-being.

An Arlington resident reported that her car was parked on White Street and an unknown motor vehicle struck her vehicle and didn't leave any information behind. At this time, there are no suspect motor vehicles or witnesses to this hit and run.

ALEWIFE BROOK PKWY
Cambridge Police responded to a department store for the report of a shoplifting. Upon arrival, Police were met by the store’s Loss Prevention Officer, who observed a female suspect via the store surveillance cameras conceal a black backpack in her purse and proceed to the dressing room to remove the anti-theft device with a magnet. The female suspect was identified as Teresa Baker, 39, 31 Jefferson Avenue in Chelsea. Baker was taken into custody without incident and charged with Shoplifting $100 by Concealing Merchandise and Unlawful Possession of a Theft Detection Devise Remover.

ECC dispatched CPD units to Eliot Street on a report of a disturbance. Officers learned that a group of six female juveniles had ordered $88 worth of food and fled an establishment without paying.
