05/13/2018 02:13 INCIDENT 18003082 TAGGING PROPERTY C266 S126B	BISHOP ALLEN DR A resident of Norwood, MA was summonsed to court for defacing city property after he was observed by Cambridge Police Officers spray painting a pay station in a city parking lot.
05/13/2018 08:57 INCIDENT 18003087 MOTOR VEH, LARCENY OF c266 S28	MT AUBURN ST Cambridge Police were dispatched to a grocery store on Mt. Auburn Street for a report of a stolen vehicle.
05/13/2018 10:02 INCIDENT 18003088 *UNREGISTERED MOTOR VEHICLE C90 S9**	PEARL ST A resident of Somerville, MA was cited for operating a motor vehicle with an expired registration and operating a motor vehicle with a suspended license. An officer was driving behind the vehicle on Mass Ave and observed what appeared to be an expired registration sticker. After investigating, it was learned that the vehicle was in fact expired and non-renewable. The inquiry also revealed he registered owner had a suspend license.

05/13/2018 12:33 INCIDENT 18003091 CIVIL RIGHTS VIOLATION c265 S37	BRATTLE ST A Cambridge college student came to the police station to report a hate crime. She reports that overnight unknown person(s) placed at least 4X sticky notes of swastikas in and around her door.
05/13/2018 12:54 INCIDENT 18003092 LARCENY OVER $250 c266 S30	BERKSHIRE PL A Cambridge resident reports his unlocked car was entered and his son's backpack containing textbooks and games was taken. Also taken was approximately $10 in coins and bills, a laptop, and an old cell phone. The books and bag as well as games from backpack were recovered on Berkeley Street.

05/13/2018 15:15 TRAFFIC 18003095 TRAFFIC INVESTIGATIONS	HAMPSHIRE ST Cambridge Police, Fire, and EMS responded to Hampshire Street and Prospect Street in regards to a motor vehicle vs. pedestrian crash. A female was transported to a local hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
05/13/2018 15:37 INCIDENT 18003097 MOTOR VEH, MALICIOUS DAMAGE TO c266 S28	BRATTLE ST A Maryland man reports being the victim of road rage directed at him by a US Postal worker. The Postal worker was beeping at him repeatedly as he drove slowly and attempted to park. After parking and exchanging words he began to walk away and was sworn at and believes he was threatened when the postal employee told him he "better keep walking". When he was a significant distance from his vehicle he saw the postal worker exit his US Postal Services delivery truck, approach his vehicle and key the driver’s side doors.

05/13/2018 16:45 TRAFFIC 18003100 TRAFFIC INVESTIGATIONS	CAMBRIDGESIDE PL A motor vehicle crash with injury occurred on Cambridge Side Place at Edward Land Boulevard. One party was transported to the hospital with minor injuries.
05/13/2018 17:11 INCIDENT 18003099 A&B c265 S13A	MASSACHUSETTS AVE Sean O'Shea, 45, homeless of Cambridge, was arrested for Assault and Battery, Assault and Battery on a Police Officer, and Disorderly Conduct. O'Shea was observed by officers screaming and scaring pedestrians in Central Square, shoving a pedestrian, and spitting on a police officer.
05/13/2018 18:22 INCIDENT 18003102 LARCENY OVER $250 c266 S30	REED ST Cambridge Police were dispatched to Reed Street for a possible larceny from a construction site.
05/13/2018 21:33 INCIDENT 18003107 SHOPLIFTING BY CONCEALING MDSE, 3RD OFF. c266 S30A	MASSACHUSETTS AVE Cambridge Police responded to a Central Square liquor store in regards to a disturbance. Store employees observed a male suspect conceal a bottle of alcohol ($25.99 value) inside of his pants. Store security confronted the suspect and a physical altercation ensued. The suspect had to be physically restrained by security after he attempted to assault the security officer. The suspect also intentionally kicked a display stand, causing 3 bottles of wine (total value $39) to be smashed. He was summonsed to court for Shoplifting by Concealing Merchandise, Malicious Destruction of Property Under $250, and Trespassing.
05/13/2018 22:19 INCIDENT 18003108 DISORDERLY CONDUCT c272 S53	MASSACHUSETTS AVE Kieran Bee, 22, of 98 Erie Street, Cambridge was placed under arrest and charged with Disorderly Conduct, Assault and Battery, and Threats to Commit a Crime. Bee was located in the area of Mass Ave. at Churchill Road, where he became completely out of control almost immediately. Located approximately five feet from where Bee was located was a knocked over trash barrel with scattered trash causing a hazard on the sidewalk. Bee started screaming at an individual he believed was inside a residence on Mass Ave. Bee was warned multiple times to refrain from screaming and refused. Bee continued to scream expletives and racial slurs while standing on the sidewalk. As Bee continued to scream, multiple residents on Mass Ave. started exiting their homes to witness the commotion. During our investigation, a female party walked by us causing Bee to become enraged. Bee was extremely hostile towards this individual and threatened to assault her multiple times while in the presence of officers. Bee's behavior was tumultuous and chaotic during our interaction. Bee was then placed under arrest for disorderly conduct and threats to commit a crime. Another male victim subsequently came forward and stated that Bee arrived at his residence and attacked him in front of his home. Bee is also being charged with Assault and Battery on this male victim.

05/12/2018 09:23 INCIDENT 18003062 SUSPICIOUS PACKAGE / EOD INVESTIGATION	BROADWAY The Cambridge Police Explosive Ordinance Unit was dispatched to a school for a suspicious box under the walkway. The box was x-rayed and there was no hazardous materials inside. The box was disposed of in the proper manner.

05/12/2018 16:44 ARREST 18003070 WARRANT ARREST REPORT	BRATTLE ST Robert Elliott, 28, of 430 Adams Street, Dorchester was placed under arrest for a warrant out of Waltham District Court for Breaking and Entering in Daytime for a Felony, Conspiracy, and Larceny from a Building.

05/11/2018 11:51 INCIDENT 18003032 MOTOR VEH, MALICIOUS DAMAGE TO c266 S28	MONSIGNOR OBRIEN HWY Jonathan TOBAR, 27, of 205 209 Middlesex St, Lowell, was arrested on Monsignor O'Brien Highway, and charged with Malicious Damage to a Motor Vehicle, after a witness observed Tobar pouring a white substance into the gas tank of his supervisor's motor vehicle.
05/11/2018 11:53 INCIDENT 18003033 DESTRUCTION OF PROPERTY -$250, MALICIOUS c266 S127	DAY ST A Cambridge resident reported his drain pipe to his residence had been vandalized and damaged. The reporting person states he believes the culprit may be his neighbor. While speaking with the reporting person, the neighbor in questioned arrived at our location and admitted to removing the drain pipe from her neighbor’s residence.
05/11/2018 12:51 INCIDENT 18003038 UNLICENSED OPERATION OF MV c90 S10	PROSPECT ST Cambridge Police responded to Prospect Street for a motor vehicle accident involving three vehicles. After gathering the information from the involved parties, it was discovered that one involved operator was an international motorist who was not in possession of his driver's license. This individual was identified and will be summonsed for one count of Unlicensed Operation of a Motor Vehicle. The registered owner of the vehicle arrived on scene to take possession of her car. It was discovered that this individual has been residing at a new address for approximately two months and had not notified the RMV of this address change. In addition to the charge of Failure to Report Address Change, this Cambridge resident was identified and will be summonsed for one count of Permitting an Unlicensed Operator for permitting the Columbian national to operate her vehicle while knowing that he did not have the appropriate license on his possession.

05/11/2018 13:34 INCIDENT 18003036 LARCENY OVER $250 BY FALSE PRETENSE c266 S34	CANAL PK A Cambridge resident reports that he was contacted by someone claiming to be an attorney, asking for cash for bail for their grandson. The grandson was never arrested and was not in contact with any attorney. The suspect was able to convince the victim to send a total of $22,500 cash via FedEx and UPS.

05/11/2018 16:42 INCIDENT 18003044 WARRANT ARREST REPORT	CHURCH ST Tremain Haywood, 28, of 1 Church St., Cambridge was arrested on Church Street for a warrant issued out of Cambridge District Court.
05/11/2018 18:04 INCIDENT 18003045 MISC. REPORT TYPE	MASSACHUSETTS AVE Cambridge Police responded to a Palmer Street business for a report of two males shoplifting. Upon arriving on scene and making contact with Loss Prevention employees, it was determined that neither individual had shoplifted merchandise. Approximately five minutes later, Loss Prevention employees flagged down responding Cambridge Police units regarding property discarded by the two male shoplifting suspects. This property was transported to the Cambridge Police Station and submitted to property/evidence for further evaluation.

As a result of the stop, Susan Hornfeldt, 72, of 61 Longwood Avenue, Brookline was placed under arrest for operating a motor vehicle while under the influence of liquor and a one-way violation.
