Cambridge Police stopped an uninsured motor vehicle traveling on Cambridge Street. The motor vehicle was towed and a vehicle inventory was conducted pursuant to Cambridge Police Department policy. The owner/operator of the motor vehicle was summonsed for operating with revoked insurance.

RINDGE AVE
A Cambridge resident called CPD to report that for an extended period of time, an unknown person had been stealing and attempting to steal the rain guards from her vehicle. Sometimes they only peel off only a few inches at a time, but are clearly trying not to damage the pieces. Between 5/15/2018 at 3p and 5/16/2018 at 9a, an unknown person(s) peeled back about eight inches of the rear passenger's rain guard as her car was parked in the rear lot.

A Cambridge resident reports, sometime between the above dates and times, an unknown person(s) caused a large dent to the resident’s 2004 Ford in an unknown manner. The dent is located on the roof of the Ford, above the driver’s side rear passenger door. .

A resident of Brighton was summonsed for Unlicensed Operation of a Motor Vehicle after he was observed making an illegal left turn on Massachusetts Avenue and Prospect Street. When officers asked the operator to provide a valid Driver's License, the resident stated that he did not have one.

AFFRAY (Common Law)

27 BRATTLE ST
Detectives observed two males actively engaged in a physical fight. Both parties were punching and wrestling each other to the ground in front of a Cafe in the presence of several by-standers. The officers intervened and took both parties into custody for violation of Common Law (Affray). These two parties were identified as Ronald Slusher, 25, homeless, and George Seested, 39, 193 School Street in Somerville. Slusher was additionally charged with Assault and Battery for allegedly spitting in the face of Seested prior to the fight.

A resident of Cambridge was summonsed for operating a motor vehicle with a suspended license after a motor vehicle infraction at the intersection of Massachusetts Avenue and Hollis Street.
