Based on the facts and circumstances surrounding the matter, it was determined the destruction was for the intent and purpose of breaking and entering into the residence. Cambridge Police responded to Fort Washington Place for reports of a past breaking and entering into a residence. Several items of substantial value were reported of the missing by residents of the address.

STATE ST

Members of the Cambridge Police Special Investigation Unit arrested Cedric Gerard Ingram, 51, of 307 Huntington Ave. Boston, and charged him with Possession with Intent to Distribute a Class B Substance- Crack Cocaine, School Zone Drug Violation, Unregistered Motor Vehicle, Posted Sign Violation and Failure to Stop. Detectives had information that the defendant was in Cambridge to conduct a drug transaction, and also knew that his motor vehicle was unregistered. When he was stopped, crack cocaine was observed inside of his motor vehicle, and he was arrested in front of a school located on Granite Street.
