06/17/2018 02:51 INCIDENT 18004006 MISC. REPORT TYPE	ALEWIFE BROOK PKWY An Ipswich resident reported a cell phone stolen. The phone was recovered on scene by the responding officer.
06/17/2018 09:03 INVESTIGATIONS 18004009 DESTRUCTION OF PROPERTY +$1200, MALICIOUS C266 S12	MT AUBURN ST The security manager of a Cambridge hospital reported malicious destruction and false fire alarm activation on 6/17/2018 between 1:45am and 3:00am.
06/17/2018 11:40 ARREST 18004010 WARRANT ARREST REPORT	MASSACHUSETTS AVE Gaetano Cavallaro, 57, of 440 Harrison Avenue, Boston, was placed under arrest after he was found to have a warrant out of Boston District Court for two separate counts of Assault and Battery on Ambulance Personnel. Cambridge Police had initially responded to a report of a shoplifting in Central Square and detained a suspect who was identified as Cavallaro.
06/17/2018 12:17 INCIDENT 18004012 IDENTITY FRAUD	GARDEN ST Cambridge Police responded to a Garden Street address to document an attempted scam by telephone. The reporting person stated that she received a telephone call from an unknown suspect claiming to be an officer from another country. During their conversation, this unknown suspect ordered the reporting person to submit various personal information along with her bank information.
06/17/2018 13:42 INCIDENT 18004011 ROBBERY, ARMED c265 s17	MASSACHUSETTS AVE Donald Gallo, 38, of 240 Albany Street, Cambridge, was placed under arrest for Armed Robbery after he assaulted the victim and then forcefully took his backpack from him. When the victim followed him to retrieve the backpack, Gallo pulled out a black and gray box cutter, extended the blade and walked with a purpose towards the victim. At this time, officers arrived on scene and intervened.
06/17/2018 14:54 INCIDENT 18004013 LEAVE SCENE OF PROPERTY DAMAGE c90 S24	ELIOT ST A Boston resident reported that, on this date, her unattended and parked vehicle was damaged by an unknown operator of a black Toyota Rav4. When she attempted to get information from said operator, the operator walked away.
06/17/2018 14:58 INCIDENT 18004014 MOTOR VEH, MALICIOUS DAMAGE TO c266 S28	JFK ST A Cambridge resident reported that, while operating her motor vehicle on JFK Street, a white male operating a Harley Davidson motorcycle punched the driver’s side mirror of the motor vehicle, breaking the mirror. The suspect then fled the scene on the motorcycle.

06/17/2018 17:43 INCIDENT 18004019 SUSPICIOUS PACKAGE / EOD INVESTIGATION	MEMORIAL DR Cambridge Police Explosive Ordinance Unit Tango 7 and K9 Rumba responded to Memorial Drive for a report of an unattended suitcase. The suitcase was cleared by K9 Rumba.
06/17/2018 18:26 INCIDENT 18004020 LARCENY OVER $1200 C266 S30	CAMBRIDGE ST A Somerville resident reported that, on this date, while her vehicle was parked in the area of Cambridge Street, unknown person(s) stole all four of its wheel coverings.
06/17/2018 18:43 ARREST 18004021 WARRANT ARREST REPORT	DUNSTER ST Cambridge Police responded to Harvard Square for a report of a person with an active warrant. Diamante Serrano, 21, homeless of Waltham was placed under arrest for a warrant out of Waltham District Court for Assault and Battery with a Dangerous Weapon and Assault with a Dangerous Weapon.
06/17/2018 19:36 INCIDENT 18004022 BY-LAW OR ORDINANCE VIOLATION DRINKING OR POSSESSI	MASSACHUSETTS AVE Gary Lowder, 49, of 39 Kingston Street, Boston, was arrested for a city ordinance violation of drinking in public after officers observed him drinking in Carl Barron Plaza.
06/17/2018 20:52 INCIDENT 18004024 B&E FOR MISDEMEANOR c266 S16A	ARLINGTON ST A resident of Arlington Street reported that unknown person(s) cut the lock to their storage locker in the basement of their residence. Nothing was reported stolen.

06/15/2018 13:41 INCIDENT 18003978 DESTRUCTION OF PROPERTY +$1200, MALICIOUS C266 S12	REMINGTON ST Cambridge Police responded to a Remington Street hotel to document a malicious destruction report. A hotel employee stated that an unknown suspect rented a room and spent the night at the hotel. The unknown suspect vandalized the room he rented and caused damage to the property inside of the room. This suspect is also responsible for unpaid hotel fees.

Ave. The suspect motor vehicle fled the scene without making self known. The passenger side view mirror was knocked off the victim’s motor vehicle.
