Leury Andrade, 20, of 490 Cambridge Street, Cambridge, was placed under arrest and charged with Unarmed Robbery after he stole a Blow Pop from a convenience store and, when the clerk attempted to stop him, he gestured as if he had a gun.

A resident of Everett was summonsed for Interference with a Police Officer (Common Law) and Assault and Battery on a Police Officer. Officers were dispatched to a disturbance on University Road and were made aware that the caller was requesting police for a party that matched the description of the Everett man. When a police officer attempted to stop him from leaving, he refused after being given multiple commands and then proceeded to assault a police officer when he attempted to detain him.

An individual reported to Cambridge Police that sometime today between 11:10 AM and 11:35 AM, items from his backpack were stolen. The victim had mistakenly left behind his backpack on a bench at the intersection of Green and Magazine Streets. When the victim realized this and returned to retrieve his belongings, he discovered that the backpack was gone. The victim recovered the backpack approximately 500 feet away but discovered that several valuable items were missing.

Shane Stanislaus, 23, of 65 Bowdoin Ave, Boston was placed under arrest after the Port Violence Prevention Task Force observed Stanislaus to match the description of a male known to have an active warrant. Stanislaus was sitting inside a fast food restaurant with a male friend. Stanislaus was identified and found to have two warrants, out of Quincy District Court for Number Plate Violation, Motor Vehicle Lights Violation, Unlicensed Operation of a Motor Vehicle, and License not in Possession, and out of Boston District Court for Shoplifting by Asportation.

A witness then reported to the fire department personnel that he observed an individual pull the alarm, then walk away. A suspect was located in the area and identified. Deputy Morrissey of the Fire Department wishes to pursue charges on this individual.

Cambridge Police met with a resident who wanted to file a report regarding his vehicle being used by another individual without his permission. Further investigation revealed that the ex-girlfriend of the vehicle owner's son, had gotten possession of a set of keys to the vehicle, then operated the vehicle without the owner's permission. The vehicle was located in the area from where it was originally taken. The suspect has been tentatively identified and further investigation to follow.
