Cambridge Police responded to a Technology Square convenience store for a reported shoplifting. Upon police arrival, it was determined that an armed robbery had occurred when the male suspect produced a possible firearm and pointed it at the clerk after the clerk requested that the suspect return the shoplifted item.

A Cambridge resident reported being scammed via computer on 7/2/18 at approximately 4:15 p.m. He received an alert last Saturday stating his computer security systems had been compromised. A suspect then defrauded him of $2,000 by selling bogus software to correct the problem.
