After speaking with both parties, officers learned that a verbal disagreement had occurred between the two during which one of the individuals claimed they were physically assaulted by the other.
07/29/2018 08:52 INCIDENT 18005196 LEWDNESS, OPEN AND GROSS c272 S16	MASSACHUSETTS AVENUE Officers responded for a report that an individual had openly defecated on the sidewalk and then threatened to hit the reporting party with a cane. James Johnson, 59, 240 Albany Street, was arrested for Open and Gross Lewdness and Assault with a Dangerous Weapon.
07/29/2018 12:00 INCIDENT 18005200 UNAUTHORIZED ACCESS TO COMPUTER SYSTEM C266 S120F	SIXTH STREET A resident of Cambridge reported that their computer had been accessed remotely and that the suspect had threatened to release personal files if they did not send money.

07/29/2018 12:47 INCIDENT 18005202 LARCENY OVER $250 BY FALSE PRETENSE c266 S34	IRVING STREET A resident of Cambridge reported that a contractor had refused to complete the agreed-upon work after being paid $40,000.
07/29/2018 14:22 INCIDENT 18005205 THREAT TO COMMIT CRIME c275 S2	CALLENDER STREET A resident of Cambridge reported that an individual had threatened to fight them.

07/29/2018 17:15 INCIDENT 18005208 A&B c265 S13A	ALEWIFE BROOK PARKWAY Officers responded to an Alewife Brook Parkway business for an assault in progress. The victim did not require medical attention.
07/29/2018 20:34 INCIDENT 18005210 CREDIT CARD FRAUD UNDER $1200 c266 S37B(g)	CAMBRIDGE STREET An individual reported that their credit and bank cards were used at an ATM on Cambridge Street. The victim had the cards in their possession.
07/29/2018 21:24 INCIDENT 18005211 *OPERATION OF MOTOR VEHICLE, IMPROPER C90 S16**	MASSACHUSETTS AVENUE Officers observed a motor vehicle on Massachusetts Avenue playing music on its stereo at such a high volume that passersby were stopping to look at the vehicle and a traffic jam was forming. After officers stopped the vehicle, it was discovered that the driver was not licensed. Jeferson Dasilva, 29, 3 Isabella Street 2, Quincy, was placed under arrest for Unlicensed Operation of a Motor Vehicle.
07/29/2018 23:22 INCIDENT 18005212 TRAFFIC INVESTIGATIONS	BRATTLE STREET Police and medical units responded to a crash involving two vehicles with injuries at the intersection of Brattle Street and Eliot Street. One vehicle had stopped to allow a pedestrian to cross in the crosswalk and was rear-ended by the other vehicle. Both parties refused medical attention at the scene.

07/28/2018 04:08 INCIDENT 18005166 BURGLARY, UNARMED c266 S15	DECATUR STREET At approximately 4:08 a.m., officers responded to a Decatur Street residence for a breaking and entering in progress. A suspect had cut and removed the screen in the side window and removed the lower window pane, and the homeowners’ car keys and vehicle had been stolen. Shortly after 5:00 a.m., officers located the stolen vehicle and a suspect nearby in possession of the stolen car keys. Spencer Santos, 23, 21 Valentine Street 5, was placed under arrest for Breaking and Entering Nighttime for Felony, Larceny of Motor Vehicle, and Unarmed Burglary. Mr. Santos also had a warrant out of Cambridge District Court for Breaking and Entering Daytime for Felony.
07/28/2018 04:41 INCIDENT 18005167 B&E NIGHTTIME FOR FELONY c266 S16	ERIE STREET At 4:41 a.m., officers responded to an Erie Street residence for a breaking and entering in progress. The screen had been ripped away from one of the front porch windows of the residence and the window had been smashed. It did not appear that the suspect made full entry into the apartment.
07/28/2018 04:58 TRAFFIC 18005169 TRAFFIC INVESTIGATIONS	GREEN STREET Several vehicles were damaged in a motor vehicle crash that occurred at approximately 4:59 a.m. None of the involved parties required medical attention.
07/28/2018 05:37 INCIDENT 18005170 B&E NIGHTTIME FOR FELONY c266 S16	WESTERN AVENUE Officers responded to a Western Avenue residence for a report of a possible breaking and entering that occurred overnight.
07/28/2018 07:12 INCIDENT 18005172 B&E MV / BOAT NIGHTTIME FOR FELONY C266 S16	WEST STREET At approximately 7:45 a.m., officers responded to the area of West Street after a pedestrian observed a broken window on a parked motor vehicle. The owner of the vehicle was notified and discovered that some items had been removed from the vehicle. The vehicle had been parked there since 10:15 p.m. the previous night.
07/28/2018 10:30 INCIDENT 18005173 LARCENY UNDER $1200 c266 S30(1)	SIDNEY STREET At approximately 11:00 a.m., officers responded to a Sidney Street residence for a larceny report. A locked bicycle had been stolen from the backyard of a residential complex sometime between 11:00 p.m. July 26 and 5:00 p.m. July 27, and the fence it was locked to had been damaged. The bicycle is described as a black-gray FUJI hybrid.
07/28/2018 10:52 INCIDENT 18005178 LARCENY UNDER $1200 c266 S30(1)	PLYMOUTH STREET Officers responded to a Plymouth Street residence for a report of a stolen bicycle. The bicycle, a Specialized Sirrus gray hybrid, was taken from the rear deck of the residence between 8:30 p.m. July 26 and 9:00 a.m. July 27. The bicycle was locked to the railing, and the suspect damaged the railing while removing it.
07/28/2018 11:06 INCIDENT 18005176 ATTEMPT TO COMMIT CRIME c274 S6	HURON AVENUE A resident of Cambridge reported receiving an email from a suspect attempting to extort money.
07/28/2018 11:55 INCIDENT 18005177 LEAVE SCENE OF PROPERTY DAMAGE c90 S24	MASSACHUSETTS AVENUE A resident of Milton was issued a criminal complaint application for Leaving the Scene of Property Damage after striking a parked vehicle and fleeing the scene without making any attempt to leave their information behind.
07/28/2018 12:18 INCIDENT 18005179 SHOPLIFTING BY CONCEALING MDSE c266 S30A	CAMBRIDGESIDE PLACE At 12:18 p.m., a retail store reported a shoplifting in progress. The store’s security officers chased the suspect and were able to retrieve the stolen property.
07/28/2018 13:27 INCIDENT 18005180 DESTRUCTION OF PROPERTY +$1200, MALICIOUS C266 S12	MASSACHUSETTS AVENUE Robert Holley, 60, 836 Sea Street 1, Quincy, was placed under arrest for Malicious Destruction of Property over $1200. Mr. Holley was observed by witnesses and later stated to police that he punched a front window of a Central Square business, which caused the glass to break.
07/28/2018 14:13 INCIDENT 18005182 LARCENY UNDER $1200 c266 S30(1)	MASSACHUSETTS AVENUE A student reported their backpack stolen from a Massachusetts Avenue business around 2:00 p.m.
07/28/2018 14:20 INCIDENT 18005183 TRAFFIC INVESTIGATIONS	MASSACHUSETTS AVENUE A bicyclist struck the back of a motor vehicle at the intersection of Massachusetts Avenue and Russell Street. The bicyclist was injured and taken to the hospital via ambulance.
07/28/2018 15:12 TRAFFIC 18005184 LEAVE SCENE OF PROPERTY DAMAGE c90 S24	MASSACHUSETTS AVENUE Officers responded to the intersection of Massachusetts Avenue and Vassar Street for a report of a motor vehicle collision with property damage. The operator of the vehicle that struck the second vehicle claimed not to have insurance and drove off after confirming that the second driver was uninjured.
07/28/2018 17:53 INCIDENT 18005188 LEAVE SCENE OF PROPERTY DAMAGE c90 S24	MASSACHUSETTS AVENUE Officers responded for a report of a hit and run on a parked vehicle. The vehicle was damaged between 4:00 p.m. July 27 and 3:00 p.m. July 28 while parked on Green Street.
07/28/2018 19:28 INCIDENT 18005191 LARCENY BY CHECK UNDER $1200 c266 S37 & S30(1)	MILL STREET An individual reported being conned out of money in the Harvard Square area at approximately 4:30.

07/28/2018 22:27 INCIDENT 18005193 LARCENY UNDER $1200 c266 S30(1)	WASHINGTON STREET A Cambridge resident reported that their bicycle had been stolen between 2:00 a.m. and 4:00 p.m. in front of their residence on Washington Street. The bicycle is described as a lime green Voodoo Rada.

07/27/2018 05:17 INCIDENT 18005126 ROBBERY, UNARMED c265 S19	MASSACHUSETTS AVENUE A resident of Cambridge reported an unarmed robbery that took place at approximately 2:50 a.m. The victim was punched in the back of the head by a known suspect and had $3.00 stolen from their pocket.
07/27/2018 08:44 INCIDENT 18005128 MOTOR VEH, LARCENY OF c266 S28	ERIE STREET A resident of Cambridge reported their motor vehicle stolen on the night of July 26 outside their Chestnut Street residence. The vehicle was later located.

07/27/2018 11:40 INCIDENT 18005132 LARCENY UNDER $1200 c266 S30(1)	WEBSTER AVENUE A resident of Cambridge reported that, after losing their wallet, they were contacted by an individual who claimed to have found it and said they would return the wallet but keep the $200 cash inside. This party never returned the wallet to the victim.
07/27/2018 12:17 INCIDENT 18005135 LEAVE SCENE OF PROPERTY DAMAGE c90 S24	MASSACHUSETTS AVENUE A resident of Dorchester reported that their motor vehicle was struck and damaged while parked behind their workplace. Security video shows the vehicle being struck at 11:22 a.m.
07/27/2018 12:32 INCIDENT 18005134 DRUG, POSSESS CLASS B c94C S34	MAGAZINE STREET Claude Brown, 52, 730 Lawrence Street, Lowell, was placed under arrest for Possession of a Class B Drug. Mr. Brown was observed by officers engaging in behavior consistent with consuming narcotics and was found to be in possession of cocaine and crack cocaine.

07/27/2018 18:51 INCIDENT 18005153 LEWDNESS, OPEN AND GROSS c272 S16	BRATTLE SQUARE A resident of Cambridge was summonsed for Open and Gross Lewdness after exposing himself and urinating in Brattle Square, causing others in the area alarm.
07/27/2018 18:53 TRAFFIC 18005155 LEAVE SCENE OF PROPERTY DAMAGE c90 S24	PORTER SQUARE A resident of Somerville reported that their parked vehicle was damaged between 6:30 and 7:00 p.m. in a Porter Square parking lot. No note was left.
07/27/2018 19:01 ARREST 18005154 WARRANT ARREST REPORT	BROADWAY After a motor vehicle stop in the area of Kendall Square, Andreea Patrascu, 32, 110 Stockton Street 139, Chelsea, was placed under arrest on warrants out of Boston District Court and Charlestown District Court. The charges are Larceny from Building and Larceny over $1200.
07/27/2018 19:15 INCIDENT 18005156 BY-LAW OR ORDINANCE VIOLATION DRINKING OR POSSESSI	NEWTOWNE COURT Domingo Peters, 23, 58 Stockton Street 2, Boston, was placed under arrest after officers observed him drinking an alcoholic beverage in public in violation of a city ordinance.
07/27/2018 20:06 INCIDENT 18005157 ROBBERY, UNARMED c265 S19	SIXTH STREET A resident of Cambridge reported being grabbed by four young girls who attempted to steal their backpack. A passerby observed the individual being harassed and scared the girls off.
