LANDSDOWNE STREET

Officers responded to the intersection of Massachusetts Avenue and Windsor Street for a hit and run involving property damage. An unknown male suspect on a three-wheeled scooter crashed into a stopped motor vehicle and became agitated when the driver of the vehicle attempted to exchange paperwork, stating that he did not need insurance for a scooter. He fled the scene. The vehicle suffered dents and scratches.

Officers responded to a Harvard Square business for a larceny that occurred between 6:15 and 6:30 p.m. July 27. A male suspect was seen on security footage entering a “staff only” door. Some of the employees’ personal items appeared to have been rifled through, and cash was removed from one employee’s purse.

A resident of Cambridge reported harassing phone calls. The phone calls come from different numbers and the caller claims to be an employee of a technology company offering to fix the reporting party’s computer. When the reporting party states that their computer is fine, the caller swears at them.

While patrolling the Central Square area, officers observed two individuals trespassing in a building under construction on Auburn Street. One of these individuals was identified as Nicole Delgado, 37, 341 Broadway, who was placed under arrest for a warrant out of Boston District Court for Assault and Battery on a Public Employee.

PROSPECT STREET

Officers responded to Prospect Street for a report of a package theft. The package, which contained a Dell XPS laptop, was stolen between 1:12 and approximately 7:30 p.m.
