08/19/2018 00:17 INCIDENT 18005804 A&B WITH DANGEROUS WEAPON c265 S15A	CAMBRIDGE STREET Brian Coakley, 25, 52 Mount Hope Street, Dedham, was placed under arrest for Assault and Battery with a Dangerous Weapon after smashing a bottle over a victim’s head during a dispute in a bar. Coakley fled the scene and was apprehended down the street. The victim was transported to a Boston hospital via ambulance with severe lacerations to the face.
08/19/2018 11:26 INCIDENT 18005811 DESTRUCTION OF PROPERTY -$1200, MALICIOUS C266 S12	LEIGHTON STREET A resident of Leighton Street reported that an unknown suspect slashed all four tires of their rented motor vehicle while it was parked inside their building’s resident-only parking garage. The vehicle was damaged between approximately 12:00 and 9:00 a.m.
08/19/2018 16:31 TRAFFIC 18005817 TRAFFIC INVESTIGATIONS	COLUMBIA STREET Officers responded to the intersection of Columbia Street and Market Street for a crash involving a cyclist striking a parked motor vehicle’s door. The door had reportedly been open for several minutes before the cyclist struck it.
08/19/2018 19:20 INCIDENT 18005818 LARCENY UNDER $1200 c266 S30(1)	MAGAZINE STREET A Cambridge resident reported the theft of their bicycle while it was locked on Magazine Street between 9:30 and 11:30 p.m. August 18. The bicycle is described as a black and silver JAMIS hybrid model with a removable front headlight.
08/19/2018 19:25 ARREST 18005819 WARRANT ARREST REPORT	PORTLAND STREET Michael Bonislawski, 52, 22 Water Street 720, was observed on the street by members of the Port Gun Violence Task Force and placed under arrest for warrants out of Cambridge District Court. The charges include Assault and Battery with a Dangerous Weapon, Intimidating a Witness, and Malicious Destruction of Property Under $1200.
08/19/2018 20:51 INCIDENT 18005820 *CROSSWALK VIOLATION C89 S11**	MASSACHUSETTS AVENUE Officers responded to the intersection of Massachusetts Avenue and Pearl Street for a report of two pedestrians struck by a motor vehicle with minor injuries. A citation for Failure to Yield was issued to the driver of the vehicle. Neither of the pedestrians required transportation to the hospital.

08/18/2018 11:35 INCIDENT 18005788 DISTURBING THE PEACE c272 S53	GORE STREET Drepdoa Lago, 21, 49 Beech Glen, Boston, was placed under arrest for Assault and Battery, Disturbing the Peace, and Carrying a Dangerous Weapon. Lago was apprehended after slapping an individual, chasing this individual to a train station, and verbally assaulting many people on the train station platform. A fixed-blade silver kitchen knife was found in his pocket upon his arrest.
08/18/2018 13:43 INCIDENT 18005790 LARCENY FROM BUILDING c266 S20	MASSACHUSETTS AVENUE A resident of Jamaica Plain reported their bicycle stolen from a Massachusetts Avenue basement between approximately 10:00 a.m. and 1:30 p.m. The bicycle is described as a blue Surly Bridge Club mountain bike with a small black bag on the handlebars.
08/18/2018 14:02 INCIDENT 18005789 LARCENY OVER $250 BY FALSE PRETENSE c266 S34	SIXTH STREET A Quincy resident reported being the victim of an apartment scam.
08/18/2018 16:38 INCIDENT 18005792 MOTOR VEH, LARCENY OF c266 S28	HENRY STREET Officers responded to Milton to recover a stolen Vespa that had been located in that city. The owner of the Vespa was on vacation when it disappeared, so a stolen vehicle report had not yet been taken. The Vespa sustained damage to the ignition and front headlight and the battery was stolen.
08/18/2018 17:40 INCIDENT 18005795 USE MV WITHOUT AUTHORITY c90 S24	GARDEN STREET A resident of Hanson reported that, while in Cambridge, a known individual took their vehicle without permission and crashed it at approximately 2:00 a.m.
08/18/2018 18:07 ARREST 18005797 WARRANT ARREST REPORT	HARVARD STREET Travis Gentzel, 29, 8 Farnham Street, Boston, was placed under arrest for warrants out of Lowell District Court for Possession of a Class A Drug, Shoplifting by Asportation, and Operating a Motor Vehicle with License Suspended/Revoked, as well as a warrant out of Woburn District Court for Larceny Over $1200.
08/18/2018 21:12 INCIDENT 18005798 LARCENY FROM PERSON c266 S25	LEIGHTON STREET A resident of Cambridge reported a theft. The reporting party had allowed a friend to borrow their vehicle for a few days. When it was returned three weeks later, a cell phone and watch that had been inside were missing.
08/18/2018 21:54 INCIDENT 18005805 RECKLESS OPERATION OF MOTOR VEHICLE c90 S24	BERKSHIRE STREET A resident of Cambridge was summonsed to court for Reckless Operation of a Motor Vehicle after officers observed him traveling at a high rate of speed in the area of Cardinal Medeiros Avenue and Hampshire Street. A pedestrian in the crosswalk was nearly struck by the vehicle.
08/18/2018 22:10 INCIDENT 18005799 B&E FOR MISDEMEANOR c266 S16A	OXFORD STREET A resident of Cambridge reported a breaking and entering to their apartment that occurred between approximately 2:15 and 9:35 p.m. The reporting party returned home to find the door slightly open.
08/18/2018 23:21 INCIDENT 18005801 LARCENY UNDER $1200 c266 S30(1)	HAMPSHIRE STREET A resident of Arlington reported their scooter stolen from outside a Hampshire Street restaurant.

08/17/2018 00:14 INCIDENT 18005763 TRAFFIC INVESTIGATIONS	PUTNAM AVENUE Officers responded to the area of Putnam Avenue and Western Avenue for a motor vehicle crash with non-life-threatening injury to a cyclist. The cyclist was cited for traveling down the wrong way of Western Avenue and for failure to have a light on their bicycle.
08/17/2018 01:01 INCIDENT 18005764 LARCENY UNDER $1200 c266 S30(1)	BRATTLE STREET A resident of Somerville reported their wallet stolen from a Harvard Square restaurant. The victim observed an unknown suspect remove the wallet from the bar and run out of the building.
08/17/2018 07:33 INCIDENT 18005765 BURGLARY, UNARMED c266 S15	MEMORIAL DRIVE A resident of Memorial Drive reported their apartment was broken into between approximately 2:00 and 3:30 a.m. A purse containing cash, credit and debit cards, IDs, and a passport was taken. Some of the credit and debit cards have been used in stores in the area.
08/17/2018 09:09 INCIDENT 18005768	MAIN STREET The manager of a van rental company reported a stolen moving van. An individual had rented the van, failed to return it, and was not answering phone calls from the company.
08/17/2018 10:58 INCIDENT 18005769 LEWD, WANTON & LASCIVIOUS CONDUCT c272 S53	THORNDIKE STREET A resident of Cambridge reported a man exposing himself to passersby from a second floor window of a Sixth Street residence. The reporting party was concerned due to the proximity to a park where children often play, although no children were present during the incident.
08/17/2018 11:41 INCIDENT 18005770 LEAVE SCENE OF PROPERTY DAMAGE c90 S24	HOLWORTHY STREET A resident of Cambridge reported a hit and run to their vehicle. The vehicle was struck and damaged between 8:00 and 8:30 a.m. while parked in a parking lot on Mount Auburn Street.
08/17/2018 15:22 INCIDENT 18005773 LEAVE SCENE OF PROPERTY DAMAGE c90 S24	CAMBRIDGE STREET Officers responded to Cambridge Street for a hit and run to a parked vehicle that occurred between approximately 1:50 and 2:55 p.m. The driver’s side mirror was broken off of the vehicle. Another vehicle two parking spots down appeared to have been sideswiped as well, but it is unknown if this was a related incident.
08/17/2018 15:26 INCIDENT 18005775 MISC. REPORT TYPE	SOMERVILLE AVENUE Officers responded to Somerville Avenue for a motor vehicle crash involving four cars. Two of the drivers were transported to the hospital via ambulance for non-life-threatening injuries. A citation was issued to one driver for failure to yield to oncoming traffic.
08/17/2018 16:07 INCIDENT 18005777 LARCENY UNDER $1200 c266 S30(1)	PUTNAM AVENUE A resident of Putnam Avenue reported a larceny of a blue Raleigh M60 mountain bicycle with two green saddlebags attached. The bicycle was stolen from the owner’s backyard sometime between August 6 and 5:00 p.m. August 8.
08/17/2018 16:34 INCIDENT 18005776 B&E MV / BOAT NIGHTTIME FOR FELONY C266 S16	CHAUNCY LANE A resident of Cambridge reported that an unknown suspect had gained entrance to their vehicle and stolen several items. The vehicle was parked on Chauncy Street and broken into between 5:00 p.m. August 15 and 7:00 a.m. August 17.
08/17/2018 17:11 INCIDENT 18005778 LARCENY UNDER $1200 c266 S30(1)	ELM STREET A resident of Elm Street reported their red Huffy bicycle stolen from the side of their house between August 3 and August 17.
08/17/2018 17:54 ARREST 18005779 RECEIVE STOLEN PROPERTY +$1200 c266 S60	CLINTON STREET During a motor vehicle stop, Jailson Barros, 19, 21 Adams Street, Boston, was placed under arrest for receiving stolen property. Barros had been operating a moped and was unable to provide a valid license or registration when stopped. Officers checked the VIN number on the moped and discovered that it had been reported stolen out of Boston.
08/17/2018 20:05 INCIDENT 18005781 DISORDERLY CONDUCT c272 S53	MASSACHUSETTS AVENUE Officers responded to a Massachusetts Avenue restaurant for a disturbance. Anthony Mottola, 35, 52 Brigantine Circle, Plymouth, was placed under arrest for Disorderly Conduct, Resisting Arrest, and Defrauding a Restaurant.
08/17/2018 22:39 INCIDENT 18005784 MISC. REPORT TYPE	CAMBRIDGEPARK DRIVE A resident of Cambridge made a complaint about a local establishment.
