Cambridge Police responded to Massachusetts Avenue for a report of an individual who is homeless assaulted with a bat. A victim was located and transported to a local hospital for further care.

Kevin Bradley, 29, 110 Sciarappa Street in Cambridge, and Melanie Belanger, 30, 110 Sciarappa Street in Cambridge, were arrested on drug possession warrants and an armed robbery warrant out of Cambridge District Court in the area of Sciarappa Street.

Cambridge Police responded to a Putnam Avenue address to document a past breaking and entering to a motor vehicle report. A resident reported an unknown suspect gained entry into her motor vehicle without her knowledge and/or consent and stole $5 in U.S. currency.

MT AUBURN ST
Elvin Correa, 37, 52 Fuller Street in Everett, was arrested after police were investigating a call for the theft of scrap metal in progress on Mt. Auburn Street. The suspect vehicle from the call was stopped without incident on Concord Avenue in Cambridge. Elvin Correa was operating the suspect vehicle. Upon further investigation, it was discovered that Elvin Correa was operating with a suspended license and had two warrants out of Cambridge District Court. The vehicle had registration plates belonging to another vehicle. The passenger in the suspect vehicle, Jose Correa, 56, 52 Fuller Street in Everett, was also placed under arrest for a Fugitive from Justice Warrant out of Lowell District Court. Jose Correa is also being charged with being a Fugitive from Justice out of the state of Connecticut.

Cambridge Police responded with medical for an unconscious female. Upon investigation, it was determined the female was struck by a motor vehicle that then fled the area. The pedestrian who was struck was later pronounced dead.

A Maine resident reported the theft of a bicycle. He had rented the bike yesterday and returned it to Kendall Square around 2:20PM. He received a notice indicating the bike had not docked. Upon returning to check on it, he discovered it had been taken.
