Officers investigated a crash involving a vehicle and a bicyclist. The cyclist, who was struck when the vehicle turned abruptly to the right, was transported to the hospital via ambulance. The operator of the vehicle was issued a citation for Unlicensed Operation of a Motor Vehicle and Improper Turn.

Officers responded for a report of a scam. The victim was contact by phone and told that his brother had been involved in an accident, had been arrested, and needed money to post bail. After transferring funds to the suspect, the victim was able to contact his brother and realized he had been scammed.

The victim’s vehicle had been broken into between 6:00 and 9:15 p.m. The front windows were smashed and the victim’s purse was stolen, including a wallet, bank cards, phone charger, umbrella, and makeup.
