10/01/2018 04:56 INCIDENT 18006952 LARCENY FROM PERSON c266 S25	THIRD STREET A resident of New York reported his backpack stolen from inside a Third Street restaurant. The backpack, which went missing between approximately 3:00 and 5:00 a.m., contained a foreign passport, two watches, and various other items.
10/01/2018 07:16 INCIDENT 18006953 MOTOR VEH, LARCENY OF c266 S28	REED STREET A resident of Cambridge reported her motor vehicle stolen between approximately 7:00 p.m. on September 30 and 7:00 a.m. on October 1. The vehicle was parked on Reed Street at the time.
10/01/2018 09:02 INCIDENT 18006955 SUSPICIOUS PACKAGE / EOD INVESTIGATION	BISHOP ALLEN DRIVE Officers responded to the area of Essex Street and Bishop Allen Drive for a report of an unattended suitcase. Explosive Ordnance Disposal cleared the bag with the assistance of a K9. The suitcase was determined to contain hairdressing equipment and was transferred to the Property Unit.
10/01/2018 09:39 INCIDENT 18006956 IDENTITY FRAUD	BROADWAY A resident of Cambridge reported his identity had been compromised. A withdrawal was made from the victim’s bank account in New York on September 28.
10/01/2018 10:01 INCIDENT 18006957 LARCENY FROM BUILDING c266 S20	OXFORD AVENUE A resident of Cambridge reported a larceny of a wheel off his bicycle. An unknown suspect entered the reporting party’s locked apartment building on Oxford Avenue, accessed the locked laundry and bike storage area, and removed the rear wheel from the reporting party’s bicycle.
10/01/2018 11:24 INCIDENT 18006961 LARCENY FROM PERSON c266 S25	MASSACHUSETTS AVENUE A resident of Quincy reported her handbag stolen from a Massachusetts Avenue business between approximately 12:30 and 4:45 p.m. The bag contained debit and credit cards, a driver’s license, a cell phone, and other personal items.
10/01/2018 11:42 INCIDENT 18006962 LARCENY FROM BUILDING c266 S20	MASSACHUSETTS AVENUE A Cambridge business owner reported a MacBook Pro laptop stolen from her office. The reporting party became aware of the larceny on September 26.
10/01/2018 12:39 INCIDENT 18006963 LARCENY UNDER $1200 c266 S30(1)	MASSACHUSETTS AVENUE Officers responded to a Massachusetts Avenue bicycle shop for a report of a stolen bicycle. Two male suspects had spent some time in the shop while a maintenance job was completed on a bicycle belonging to one of them, and after this was finished, they requested a test ride of a yellow BMX bicycle belonging to the shop. The two suspects left the store with the BMX bicycle without offering payment and did not return.

10/01/2018 14:13 INCIDENT 18006967 LARCENY UNDER $1200 c266 S30(1)	HARVARD SQUARE Officers were flagged down by employees of a Harvard Square business for a report of a past larceny. The reporting parties stated that an unknown male suspect had been caught multiple times stealing items from the store. The employees were advised to call police next time they see the suspect in order to have him formally trespassed.
10/01/2018 14:17 INCIDENT 18006968 LARCENY UNDER $1200 c266 S30(1)	CAMBRIDGESIDE PLACE Areal Zayas, 36, 9 Galvin Way in South Boston, was placed under arrest for Shoplifting by Concealing Merchandise after he was observed by a Cambridgeside Place store loss prevention officer leaving the business with several items that he had not offered payment for. Officers stopped Zayas nearby and discovered the stolen property in his possession.
10/01/2018 14:23 INCIDENT 18006969 LARCENY OVER $250 BY FALSE PRETENSE c266 S34	WASHINGTON AVENUE An elderly resident of Cambridge reported being the victim of an internet scam regarding gift cards. The victim was contacted by an unknown male suspect, who told her that her Microsoft subscription was expiring and she needed to pay for a new subscription using Ebay gift cards. After the victim had purchased several gift cards at one store, the cashier suspected she was involved in a scam and refused to continue selling to her.
10/01/2018 14:54 TRAFFIC 18006972 MISC. REPORT TYPE	RIVER STREET Officers responded for a two-car crash on River Street. Both vehicles sustained significant damage and required towing. A passenger in one of the vehicles was transported via ambulance to the hospital after bumping his head during the crash.
10/01/2018 15:25 INCIDENT 18006971 A&B c265 S13A	MASSACHUSETTS AVENUE A resident of Medford reported being assaulted by an unknown male in Harvard Square between 3:00 and 3:30 p.m. on September 26. The victim was pushed into a fence without provocation. The victim reported the incident on the advice of his physician, whom he saw for injuries resulting from the assault.
10/01/2018 16:16 INCIDENT 18006973 LARCENY OVER $1200 C266 S30	CAMBRIDGESIDE PLACE A Cambridgeside Place business reported three separate larcenies of electronics by the same suspect. The thefts occurred on September 23, September 29, and October 1.
10/01/2018 16:26 INCIDENT 18006975 LEAVE SCENE OF PROPERTY DAMAGE c90 S24	OXFORD STREET A resident of Cambridge reported hit and run damage to his vehicle that occurred while the car was parked near the intersection of Oxford and Wendell Streets. A witness observed a commercial truck strike the damaged vehicle at approximately 2:15 p.m. while attempting to take a turn. The witness stated that she did not believe the operator of the truck was aware they had struck the parked vehicle.
10/01/2018 17:36 TRAFFIC 18006976 LEAVE SCENE OF PROPERTY DAMAGE c90 S24	WASHINGTON STREET A resident of Cambridge reported that an unknown driver struck and damaged his parked vehicle on Washington Street between approximately 7:30 a.m. and 5:00 p.m.
10/01/2018 19:03 INCIDENT 18006978 ROBBERY, UNARMED c265 S19	BEECH STREET Officers responded to the area of Massachusetts Avenue and Beech Street for a report of a robbery in progress. After a search, Donald Gallo, 39, 240 Albany Street in Cambridge, was placed under arrest for Unarmed Robbery. Gallo was found to be in possession of the victim’s stolen money and positively identified by the victim.
10/01/2018 19:09 INCIDENT 18006980 LARCENY UNDER $1200 c266 S30(1)	BROOKLINE STREET A resident of Brookline Street reported his bicycle stolen from his backyard between approximately 8:30 p.m. on September 28 and 7:45 a.m. on October 1. The bicycle is described as a red Jamis Coda Sport model with an attached saddle bag.
10/01/2018 19:16 INCIDENT 18006981 LARCENY UNDER $1200 c266 S30(1)	FRANKLIN STREET Officers responded to a Franklin Street residence for a report of stolen bicycle parts. The reporting party stated that the back tire and derailleur of his bicycle were stolen while it was locked in the building’s garage between 9:00 p.m. on September 26 and 9:00 a.m. on September 30.
10/01/2018 19:26 ARREST 18006977 WARRANT ARREST REPORT	WHITE STREET Jason Ryan, 35, 3 Wesley Park in Somerville, was placed under arrest on warrants out of Framingham District Court (Possession With Intent to Distribute a Class B Drug, Possession of a Class B Drug, and Arrestee Furnishing False Identification to Law Enforcement) and Boston District Court (Receiving Stolen Property Under $1200, Possession of a Class A Drug, and Possession of a Class E Drug).
10/01/2018 19:49 INCIDENT 18006979 TRESPASS c266 S120	CHESTNUT STREET A resident of Chestnut Street reported ongoing problems with an unknown male trespassing on her property on and off since August 26. The suspect has been observed multiple times smoking and drinking in the bushes in front of the property.
10/01/2018 20:29 INCIDENT 18006982 MISC. REPORT TYPE	PEARL STREET Officers responded to Pearl Street for a report of suspicious activity. A resident of Cambridge reported an unknown male suspect attempting to convince her to enter his vehicle as she walked on the sidewalk. The suspect drove away when the reporting party began a conversation with a couple nearby.
