Officers responded for a report of a hit and run that occurred at a Prospect
Street gas station. The reporting party’s vehicle was struck and damaged by a
yellow school bus while he was attempting to pump gas. The suspect driver
exited the bus, had a brief conversation with the reporting party, and then
reentered the bus and fled the scene. The incident was witnessed by a gas
station attendant and recorded by security cameras.

Officers responded to a White Street grocery store for a report of a
shoplifting. A white female suspect with reddish hair and a red coat was
observed placing items in a shopping cart and then exiting the store with the
merchandise without offering payment. The suspect entered the store at
approximately 5:30 a.m. and left behind a number of personal items upon
leaving the property.

Officers responded for a motor vehicle crash involving a bicycle at Cameron
Avenue and Fair Oaks Street. A cyclist struck the front fender of the vehicle
as it made a left turn in front of her. Both the vehicle and the bicycle
sustained damage, and the cyclist reported minor injuries but stated she
would seek medical treatment on her own. The driver of the vehicle was issued
a citation for Failure to Yield to Right of Way (Bicycle).

The police department of a university in Boston alerted Cambridge Police that
a former student had made shooting threats via telephone and was currently at
a location on Cambridgeside Place. Elie Ngakouyou, 35, 8 Portland Street in
Worcester, was placed under arrest for False Bomb/Chemical/Biological Threat
and was transferred to the custody of the University of Massachusetts Boston Police
Department. No weapons were found in Ngakouyou’s possession at the time of
his arrest.

Officers responded to a Lakeview Avenue residence for a reported breaking and
entering to two motor vehicles that occurred between approximately 10:00 p.m.
on December 1 and 9:00 a.m. on December 2. The reporting party stated that
neither vehicle’s doors were locked at the time and that nothing appears to
be missing, but items were scattered about inside the vehicles.

Officers responded to a Palermo Street residence for a report of a package
theft. The reporting party received a delivery confirmation between 2:00 and
3:00 p.m. and returned home at 6:00 p.m. to find the package opened on his
front stoop and the contents taken. Packaging from another potentially stolen
box was left on the reporting party’s stoop.

An officer observed a vehicle commit a traffic infraction and then park in a
handicap space without a visible handicap placard. Upon searching for the driver’s
information, the officer discovered that the driver had a suspended license. The
driver, a resident of Dorchester, was summonsed to court for Operating a
Motor Vehicle With License Suspended and cited for License Not in Possession
and Improper U-Turn.

Officers responded to School Street and Pine Street for a report of shots
fired. Several witnesses heard a single shot and a commotion, and one
individual observed a vehicle speeding down School Street after the shot.
Nobody was observed fleeing the scene on foot and no victim(s) were located.
Officers did locate a shell casing in the street on Pine Street.

Officers responded to the area of Cardinal Medeiros Avenue and Hardwick
Street for a report of a package theft. The reporting party observed an
unknown male suspect carrying a package open it, take the contents, and
discard the box. The discarded packaging was located and the individual
identified on the label confirmed that it had been stolen.
