A resident of Boston reported malicious destruction of property. The reporting party was exiting a rideshare vehicle when the operator began to drive away before she had fully exited, causing her bag to fall to the ground. The vehicle’s tire ran over the bag, which contained a MacBook Pro laptop, and destroyed the laptop.

Officers responded to the intersection of Rindge Avenue and Cedar Street for a motor vehicle crash. One vehicle struck a property fence after being struck from behind by another vehicle. Both involved vehicles and the fence sustained significant damage, but no injuries were reported.

Officers responded to a Cambridgeside Place business for a report of a shoplifting. A male suspect was observed concealing merchandise worth several hundred dollars in a bag and fleeing down an escalator. A security guard attempted to stop the suspect and was able to recover the merchandise.
