The reporting party was exiting a rideshare vehicle when the operator began to drive away before she had fully exited, causing her bag to fall to the ground. The vehicle’s tire ran over the bag, which contained a MacBook Pro laptop, and destroyed the laptop.

12/09/2018 11:06 INCIDENT 18008711 TRAFFIC INVESTIGATIONS	CEDAR STREET Officers responded to the intersection of Rindge Avenue and Cedar Street for a motor vehicle crash. One vehicle struck a property fence after being struck from behind by another vehicle. Both involved vehicles and the fence sustained significant damage, but no injuries were reported.

12/09/2018 14:44 INCIDENT 18008714 SHOPLIFTING $250+ BY CONCEALING MDSE c266 S30A	CAMBRIDGESIDE PLACE Officers responded to a Cambridgeside Place business for a report of a shoplifting. A male suspect was observed concealing merchandise worth several hundred dollars in a bag and fleeing down an escalator. A security guard attempted to stop the suspect and was able to recover the merchandise.

12/09/2018 17:18 INCIDENT 18008716 LARCENY UNDER $1200 c266 S30(1)	JFK STREET A resident of Boston reported that his Canada Goose coat, house keys, and headphones were stolen from a restaurant on JFK Street while he was dining between 7:15 and 8:45 p.m. The total value of the stolen items is $1500.

12/09/2018 21:23 INCIDENT 18008719 LARCENY FROM BUILDING c266 S20	CAMBRIDGESIDE PLACE An unknown suspect(s) gained access to the back room at a Cambridgeside Place business and removed credit cards and cash from two of the employees’ purses. The victims have been notified by their banks of attempted fraudulent transactions at local stores.

12/08/2018 10:37 INCIDENT 18008696 LARCENY UNDER $1200 c266 S30(1)	KINNAIRD STREET A resident of Kinnaird Street reported a package theft. The reporting party received a delivery confirmation at 6:08 p.m. on December 6 but could not locate the package upon arriving home. The package contained a vacuum cleaner valued at $240.

The operator of this vehicle continued from Clarendon Avenue onto Massachusetts Avenue in the direction of Porter Square without stopping to exchange information.

The reporting party, who was riding his bicycle, was struck by a vehicle at the intersection of Broadway and Tremont Street. No injuries were reported.

A Leatherman multi-tool and a small amount of loose change were stolen from the vehicle.

12/07/2018 21:31 ARREST 18008690 WARRANT ARREST REPORT	MASSACHUSETTS AVENUE Frank Colella, 53, homeless, was placed under arrest in the area of Central Square on warrants out of Lynn District Court.
