MASSACHUSETTS AVENUE

Officers responded to the area of Central Square for a report of a stabbing. A resident of Cambridge was sliced with a box cutter after an argument with an acquaintance. The victim was transported to the hospital for treatment of a non-life-threatening injury. Lucilia Amado, 46, 7 Temple Street in Cambridge, was placed under arrest for Assault and Battery With a Dangerous Weapon. Additionally, Amado had warrants out of Salem District Court for Larceny Over $1200.

Following a motor vehicle stop, Shaine Watkins, 25, 236 Franklin Street in Quincy, was placed under arrest for Receiving Stolen Property Under $1200, Unlicensed Operation of a Motor Vehicle, Uninsured Motor Vehicle, and numerous warrants out of Brockton District Court, Boston Municipal Court, and Charlestown Municipal Court.

Police and Fire units were dispatched to Broadway at Antrim Street for a report of an unattended briefcase on a park bench. A bomb technician and K-9 cleared the briefcase and discovered that it contained a xylophone belonging to the band of a nearby school.

Fernanda Fernandes, 28, 240 Albany Street in Cambridge, was transferred to Cambridge Police custody from the Pima County Jail in Tucson, Arizona. Fernandes has a warrant out of Cambridge District Court for Assault and Battery on a Police Officer and Interfering With a Police Officer.
