An Arlington resident was summonsed to court for unlicensed operation of his motor vehicle. This was after he was observed by an officer committing several traffic violations (failure to stop at a red light and violation of a posted no left turn sign) on Massachusetts Avenue at Western Avenue.

Cambridge Police responded to a past breaking and entering on Walnut Street. The victim stated to Cambridge Police that her purse is missing from her residence. The victim believes that a suspicious person came through the unlocked kitchen door and took her purse, which was on the kitchen counter. Nothing else was stolen from the residence and at this time there are no witnesses or suspects.

A resident of Boston was summonsed to Cambridge District Court and charged with Larceny over $1200 by a single scheme after it was discovered that she had stolen more than $2,000 from the register of a Cambridge business that she formerly worked at over a period of several weeks.

Mark Daley, 53, 240 Albany Street, Cambridge, was arrested and charged with Receiving Stolen Property -$1200. Daley was observed by Cambridge Police in front of Massachusetts Avenue attempting to open a package. When he was approached by officers, he immediately threw the package away. He stated to police that the package did not belong to him.

Members of the Cambridge Police Special Investigations Unit arrested Christopher Loucks, 33, homeless, inside a building located at Massachusetts Avenue for warrants. A search incident of Loucks revealed numerous clear plastic ziplock baggies containing a white crystal substance, numerous pills suspected as Gabapentin, Clonazepam, Quetiapine and Suboxone film strips. Loucks was also additionally charged with two counts of Possession with the Intent to Distribute Class B, Possession Class C, Possession Class E and Possession with the Intent to Distribute Class E.
