12/17/2018 09:25 INCIDENT 18008931 LARCENY UNDER $1200 c266 S30(1)	ROBERTS ROAD A resident of Roberts Road reported two packages stolen from his doorstep. The thefts occurred on December 12 and 14, both between approximately 11:30 a.m. and 4:00 p.m.
12/17/2018 10:29 INCIDENT 18008935 BOMB CHEM OR BIO THREAT, FALSE C269 S14	CANAL PARK A Canal Park company reported a bomb threat made via a web-based support chat. Explosive Ordnance Disposal responded and determined that no suspicious packages or devices were present.
12/17/2018 10:42 INCIDENT 18008936 LEAVE SCENE OF PROPERTY DAMAGE c90 S24	VASSAR STREET A resident of Walpole reported a hit and run on Vassar Street. The reporting party’s company van was struck and damaged while parked.
12/17/2018 11:32 INCIDENT 18008937 LARCENY UNDER $1200 c266 S30(1)	NEW STREET A business owner reported that clothing donation bins located around the New Street area had been vandalized and contents had been stolen on several occasions.
12/17/2018 13:16 INCIDENT 18008940 MOTOR VEH, LARCENY OF c266 S28	ELIOT STREET A manager of a car rental business in Cambridge reported a stolen vehicle. The vehicle was not returned on December 8 as per the rental contract.
12/17/2018 13:29 INCIDENT 18008941 LARCENY UNDER $1200 c266 S30(1)	SIXTH STREET An employee of a café in Cambridge reported a larceny of approximately $10 in cash from a tip jar on the counter.
12/17/2018 13:48 INCIDENT 18008942 THREAT TO COMMIT CRIME c275 S2	MASSACHUSETTS AVENUE Officers responded to an establishment in the area of Central Square for a report of threats from a known suspect.
12/17/2018 15:58 INCIDENT 18008946 SHOPLIFTING BY ASPORTATION c266 S30A	CAMBRIDGESIDE PLACE Lance Stewart, 51, 17 Court Street in Boston, was placed under arrest for Shoplifting by Asportation. Stewart was detained by loss prevention officers after exiting a Cambridgeside Place store with merchandise he had not offered payment for. Stolen merchandise from several other nearby businesses was discovered in Stewart’s possession.

The vehicle operator made no attempt to exchange information and fled into Boston.
12/17/2018 16:22 INCIDENT 18008949 UNLICENSED OPERATION OF MV c90 S10	CAMBRIDGE STREET A resident of Revere was summonsed to court for Unlicensed Operation of a Motor Vehicle and cited for Improper Turn following a motor vehicle stop.
12/17/2018 16:42 INCIDENT 18008947 MISC. REPORT TYPE	HARVARD STREET Officers responded to the area of Harvard Street for a report of a gun found in a recycling bin. The found item was determined to be a BB gun and was submitted to the Property Unit for safekeeping.
12/17/2018 17:51 INCIDENT 18008951 LARCENY UNDER $1200 c266 S30(1)	LINNAEAN STREET Officers responded to a Linnaean Street residence for a report of several package thefts. Packages containing clothing and electronics were taken from the front door between 1:45 and 5:15 p.m. on December 17 and between 4:00 and 5:00 p.m. on December 10.

12/17/2018 19:05 INCIDENT 18008955 LARCENY FROM BUILDING c266 S20	ELM STREET Officers responded to an Elm Street residence for a report of a package theft that occurred between 2:48 and 3:45 p.m.
12/17/2018 19:19 INCIDENT 18008959 B&E MV IN DAYTIME OR NIGHTTIME FOR MISDEMEANOR C26	BLACKSTONE STREET Officers responded to a Blackstone Street residence for a report of a breaking and entering to a motor vehicle that occurred between approximately 11:00 p.m. on December 16 and 7:15 a.m. on December 17. An unknown suspect(s) rummaged through the vehicle and stole $30 in cash from the center console.
12/17/2018 19:31 INCIDENT 18008956 TRESPASS c266 S120	ALBANY STREET Lawrence Payne, 58, 240 Albany Street in Cambridge, was placed under arrest for Trespass and Threat to Commit a Crime. Payne refused to leave the premises of an Albany Street establishment where he was causing a disturbance. The reporting party stated that Payne had made threats to kill staff members prior to police arrival. While officers were attempting to convince Payne to leave the area willingly, Payne threatened to kill one of the officers.
12/17/2018 19:40 INCIDENT 18008957 MISC. REPORT TYPE	MASSACHUSETTS AVENUE Officers responded for a report of a fight in the Central Square area. The parties were separated and no injuries were reported.
12/17/2018 19:50 INCIDENT 18008958 LEAVE SCENE OF PROPERTY DAMAGE c90 S24	RIVER STREET Officers responded to a River Street parking lot for a reported hit and run with property damage. The reporting party’s vehicle was struck by a vehicle backing out of a parking space. When the reporting party waved at the suspect driver to alert her to the crash, the suspect driver drove away at a high rate of speed.
12/17/2018 21:02 INCIDENT 18008962 LARCENY OVER $1200 C266 S30	WESTERN AVENUE Officers responded to a Western Avenue residence for a reported larceny of a bicycle that occurred between approximately 7:00 p.m. on December 14 and 8:40 a.m. on December 16. The reporting party located an online marketplace posting of a bicycle that appears to be identical to hers.
12/17/2018 21:47 INCIDENT 18008963 TRESPASS c266 S120	MASSACHUSETTS AVENUE Lester Costa, 66, homeless, was placed under arrest for Trespass for repeatedly entering a building he had previously been trespassed from by management.
12/17/2018 23:05 INCIDENT 18008965 *OPERATION OF MOTOR VEHICLE, IMPROPER C90 S16**	MASSACHUSETTS AVENUE A resident of Danvers was summonsed to court for Operating a Motor Vehicle With Registration Revoked and cited for Bus Lane Violation and Failure to Wear a Seat Belt.
