Cambridge Police Investigating Gunshot in School and Pine Street Area

The Cambridge Police have recovered a shell casing after responding to and investigating a ShotSpotter activation this evening in the area of School Street and Pine Street. Following the ShotSpotter activation, nearby Cambridge Police Officers quickly responded to the area at approximately 9:45 p.m. for a report of a possible shot fired. After canvassing the area, officers located a shell casing on Pine Street. Fortunately, there are no known injuries or victims. 

One witness reported seeing a black sedan drive down School Street towards Windsor following what they believed was a gunshot. Detectives remain on the scene and will be seeking and reviewing any nearby video surveillance footage and looking to speak to any witnesses for further information.
