BRATTLE ST

Matthew Dray, 26, 41 Bartlett Street in Somerville, was placed under arrest after officers responded to a disturbance at a Brattle Street that was reported by multiple callers. Upon arrival, Dray was inside a second story business breaking large commercial windows, yelling obscenities and throwing shards of glass at officers from the second story windows that he broke. Officers were able to restrain Dray after a brief struggle and placed him into handcuffs. As a result, Dray is being charged with Assault with a Dangerous Weapon, Malicious Destruction of Property +1200, Disturbing the Peace and Resisting Arrest.

MASSACHUSETTS AVE

Cambridge Police responded to a Massachusetts Avenue store for a report of a past shoplifting. The suspect was later located in a nearby restaurant. As a result of this investigation, A resident of Somerville will be summoned to Cambridge District Court for a single count of Shoplifting by Asportation (M.G.L.c 266 s. 30A).

A District of Columbia resident reported being defrauded of $600.00 on January 10, 2019 at approximately 3:10 PM. He had arranged to lease an apartment in Cambridge that was falsely posted on the application in December 2018.
