Officers was patrolling in the area of Erie Street and Sidney Street when he observed a Toyota minivan with a MA registration displaying an expired registration sticker from 2017. The vehicle was stopped and a Belmont resident was identified as the operator. The driver only had a North Carolina license and is a Massachusetts resident. She was summoned for the violation of operating unlicensed and an expired registration sticker. The owner of the vehicle was summoned for allowing an unlicensed operator to operate.

Cambridge Police conducted a motor vehicle stop on Broadway/Third Street, both public ways, for a motor vehicle infraction. It was also discovered that the vehicle's insurance had been revoked. The operator and registered owner was issued a Criminal Application as a result of this offense.
