Two residents of 240 Albany Street in Cambridge were observed by an Officer in Central Square conducting a drug transaction in the area of Mass Ave. The officer observed one resident take out a pill bottle from his jacket pocket which was located inside a duffle bag. He then took an item out of the bottle and handed it to the other resident. Upon investigating the transaction, the officer recovered an open Suboxone sublingual strip package given from one resident to another. The investigation revealed neither of the two had a valid prescription for the Suboxone. They will be summonsed for Distribution of a Class B Drug and Possession of a Class B Drug.

CORPORAL BURNS RD
Cambridge Police stopped a motor vehicle revoked for insurance travelling on Field Street. The motor vehicle was towed and a vehicle inventory was conducted pursuant to Cambridge Police Department Tow/Inventory policy. The owner/operator of the motor vehicle was summonsed for operating a motor vehicle with a status revoked for insurance.
