Officers responded to a Central Square Business for a report of an assault with a deadly weapon in progress. The reporting party, an employee of the store stated one male stole knives and attempted to stab her husband. This male was with another male at the time the crime was committed. Information was provided by Emergency Communications of the whereabouts for one of the males involved and along with information from a witness, Jason Leger, 45, of 77 Edmund Road, was eventually located and arrested for Assault with a Dangerous Weapon just moments after the incident. The other unidentified male had fled the scene and his whereabouts are unknown at this time.

Cambridge police arrested Rodrigo Queiroz de Araujo, 35, of 14 Lexington Terrace, for Unlicensed Operation and Possession of Class B Substance. Mr. Araujo had parked his motor vehicle illegally in Harvard Square. When Cambridge police approached the running motor vehicle, an officer noticed some drug paraphernalia. When questioned about it, Araujo admitted to being in possession of some class B substances
