Officers have responded to the area of Pearl and Green Street in Central Square following reports of gunshots at approximately 5:54 p.m. At least one shell casing has been recovered. There are no known victims/injuries reported at this time and officers remain on-scene in the greater area conducting a search for a possible suspect(s). 

Anyone with any information related to this incident is asked to call Cambridge Police at 617-349-3300. Those who wish to provide information anonymously may dial the Cambridge Police Anonymous Crime Tip Hotline at 617-349-3359 and leave a message.
