Cambridge Police Explosive Ordinance Unit responded to Broadway for a report of an unattended bag in a parking spot in the library garage. The bag was cleared by K9 Units. The owner was tracked down via a library card. The library staff took possession of the bag and were going to contact the owner and see that it was returned to them

A Brighton resident came to the police station to report that he was a victim of the apartment scam. He made two large payments to secure an apartment in Cambridge only to discover that their office did not exist and they stopped corresponding.
