BROADWAY
Mario Morelus, 55, 77 Bishop Allen Drive in Cambridge, was placed under arrest for Trespassing and Possession of a Class B Drug. Morelus was charged with trespassing after an officer observed and stopped him in Sennott Park after posted hours of operation. When Morelus was searched, it was discovered that he had a bag of crack cocaine on him.

A Somerville resident reports that a car came out of Plymouth Street in front of his Vespa causing him to crash. The suspect vehicle left the scene without making himself known. The victim was treated on scene and transported to a local hospital.

An employee for a church in Cambridge reported two vehicles were damaged in their parking lot. A windshield was smashed with a metal grate on one car. A passenger window was smashed out with a stone along with the right side of the car scratched and dented.

An East Boston resident states her mother was contacted on her phone from a person claiming they were the US Marshalls. This person stated if she didn't send them an unspecified amount of money, a warrant would be issued for her arrest. She sent $300 at a Cambridge location specified by the person before realizing it was probably a scam and came to the Cambridge Police Department.

Russell Allen, 40, 170 Morton Street in Jamaica Plain, was arrested and charged with an Ordinance Violation of Drinking in Public after an officer observed him drinking a beer on a public road in Cambridge.
