David Powell, 53, homeless was arrested outside of Massachusetts Avenue on 3 active warrants issued out of Boston and Cambridge. The Boston warrant was issued on 7/8/19 for disorderly conduct and assault and battery on a police officer. Two Cambridge warrants were issued on 7/8/19 for trespassing. Mr. Powell was known to have warrants and was observed by Officers at this location. Once the warrants were confirmed with ECC, he was taken into custody without incident.

A resident of Lowell, was summonsed to court for an unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle and failing to stop for a stop sign. He was summonsed after an officer observed him fail to stop for a stop sign at Rindge Avenue and Cedar Street. Upon further investigation, it was discovered that he did not have a valid driver’s license.
