A Cambridge resident reports sometime between 10:30 a.m. and 11:15 a.m., an unknown motor vehicle struck a parked 2014 Toyota Camry which was parked in a parking lot on White Street. The Toyota Camry sustained damage to the front driver’s side and front bumper. The unknown suspect motor vehicle fled the scene without making them self-known.

The victim later learned that someone used her bank debit card to withdraw and charge thousands of dollars’ worth of money and services from her account.

That dog was removed and examined by Officers. The dog did not appear to be in any sort of distress. A short time later, the owner arrived and was allowed to leave with the dog.

At approximately 1:38 a.m., Cambridge Police responded to Massachusetts Avenue for a report of a disturbance. When officers arrived they were met by the evening manager of a local convenience store. He stated that a white, heavy set, female, had kicked in the window of the front door of the store. He stated that she had become confrontational after being told that the store does not provide cash back. As she was leaving the store causing a scene she slammed the front door shut and then kicked it, causing it to shatter. She was located next door in a local bar and was identified by the store manager. Rita Domena, 28, 26 Wordworth Street in Boston, was placed under arrest and charged with Malicious Destruction of Property -$1200.

A Rhode Island resident came to the police station to report an attempted flim flam occurred to him on Friday afternoon. While working here in Cambridge, he received an email from his boss instructing him to go to a local pharmacy and purchase gift cards and forward them to him. He bought the gift cards but notified his boss using a different email address and discovered that it was a scam. He managed to exchange the gift cards.

At 5:59 p.m. Cambridge Police were flagged down in front of a local pharmacy on Massachusetts Avenue for a shoplifting in progress. When Officers entered the store an employee who observed the shoplifting pointed towards a women who walked past Officers and exited the store onto Massachusetts Avenue. Officers stopped the female party outside where she began to remove the stolen items from her bag. She was summonsed for shoplifting.

At approximately 6:08 p.m., Cambridge police responded to Norfolk Street for service of a warrant. Dane Brun, 73, 116 Norfolk Street in Cambridge was served with two warrants and taken into custody at his residence without incident.

On 07/28/19 Cambridge Police responded to a local shopping center for a report of a party Shoplifting. Upon arrival we were informed the party in question was identified as Andrea French, 31, 7 Temple Street in Cambridge, and she had a warrant out of Boston for Shoplifting by Concealment. She was observed taking items, entering the women's room in a local department store then placing the items in the bag. After exiting the women's room she then proceeded to exit the department store with the unpaid merchandise in her bag. After confirming her identification and the Warrant with ECC French was placed under arrest for shoplifting by concealment and for the warrant.

At 8:55 p.m., while driving in a marked cruiser Cambridge Police officers observed a motor vehicle not stop at the stop sign at Green Street and Magazine Street, the vehicle then took a right turn into a do not enter for MBTA vehicles only. After the vehicle was pulled over the driver presented Officers with a license that had expired. The driver was issued a Massachusetts Uniform Citation and summonsed for an Expired License, Failure to Stop and Restricted Way.
