Cambridge Police documented a motor vehicle crash on Mount Auburn Street at Willard Street involving a pedestrian. The operator was issued a citation for the crash. The pedestrian was transported to the hospital for treatment.

At 11:45am, an employee on Main Street reported that sometime over the weekend his mountain bike was stolen from in front of this location after he believed that he had locked bike to building's railings but had mistakenly only secured his helmet to the bike frame.

GREEN ST
At approximately 6:40 p.m., members of the Cambridge Police Special Investigations Unit arrested Christopher Reed, 34, 80 Holmes Avenue in Dorchester, and Nelson Gelardi, 62, 237 Franklin Street in Cambridge, and charged them both with Possession of a Class A Substance - Heroin. Detectives conducting surveillance in Central Square observed the two engaging in behavior consistent with drug activity. Reed made a brief meet with an individual in a motor vehicle on Sellers Street. Believing a drug transaction had occurred, detectives stopped Reed and Gelardi and both were found to be in possession of a baggy containing suspected heroin.
