MAGAZINE ST
At approximately 10:10 a.m., members of the Special Investigations Unit arrested Antonio Hill, 51, 240 Albany Street in Cambridge, and Carol Vallery, 48, 2 Meacham Street in Somerville, as a result of a drug investigation. Hill and Vallery were observed sitting on the front steps of a residence on Magazine Street engaging in suspicious activity. Upon approach, Hill was observed in possession of a glass tube that contained a white rock substance believed to be crack cocaine and Vallery was observed discarding white rock particles from her left hand, also believed to be crack cocaine. Prior to transport to the police station, a suboxone film was discovered among Vallery's property, which she was unable to produce a valid prescription for. Antonio Hill was charged with Possession of a Class B Substance (Crack Cocaine). Carol Vallery was charged with Possession of a Class B Substance (Crack Cocaine) and Possession of a Class B (Suboxone).

A Randolph resident was issued a Massachusetts Uniform Citation and charged with operation of a motor vehicle after suspension/revocation of registration/insurance, and with failure to yield/stop at a stop sign, after officers observed her drive by a stop sign without coming to a complete stop. Upon placing a stop on her vehicle, it was discovered that the plates on her vehicle were canceled in addition to not matching the vehicle which she was driving.

At 9:35 a.m., while working Harvard Square, Cambridge Police came upon a Black ford Expedition involved in a one car crash. The truck struck the center Island at the intersection of Brattle Street and Mt. Auburn Street. The truck was up onto the island sitting on the small wall separating the sidewalk and the street still running. The woman behind the wheel was just staring straight ahead smiling. As police approached her they noticed several open vodka nips. Officers asked her to step out from the car and she opened the door a vodka nip fell from her lap onto the floor of the truck. She was very unsteady on her feet and refused a field sobriety test and based on this and the officer’s observations the driver, Patricia Mota, 38, 30 Brakenbury Street in Malden,  was placed under arrest for OUI (Alcohol) and Open Container in Vehicle.
