Cambridge Police conducted a motor vehicle stop at the intersection of Massachusetts Avenue and Sidney Street for a motor vehicle operating without its headlights on. Further Investigation revealed the operator, a New Hampshire resident, had been operating on a suspended New Hampshire Driver’s License. The operator was summonsed for the following crimes: Operating Without Headlights on After Dusk, and Operating After a Suspended License.

HARVARD SQ
Units responded to Massachusetts Avenue for a report of a pedestrian struck by a motor vehicle at approximately 6:55 a.m. The traffic crash resulted in life-threatening injuries to the pedestrian who was struck and transported to a local hospital, where she was later pronounced. All parties involved remained on scene.

At approximately 12:08 p.m., Cambridge Police responded to Massachusetts Avenue for three parties who had just stole a bicycle. Upon arrival, all parties were stopped and identified. One of the parties identified himself to be Kevin Merrill, 39, 240 Albany Street in Cambridge, and was placed under arrest after he was found to have warrant for his arrest which was issued out of Boston District Court.

Police and EMS responded to a licensed premise for an unconscious male. The party was transported from the scene by ambulance. It was determined that there was no license violation.
