GOLD STAR RD
Cambridge Police responded to Massachusetts Avenue and Gold Star Road for a motor vehicle crash. On arrival, officers identified both operators involved in the crash. A Revere resident was issued a citation for Operating after License Suspension and Fail to Slow. He will be summonsed to court.

At 9:25 a.m., police were summoned to the intersection of Concord Avenue and New Street for a report of a motor vehicle versus bicyclist crash. Bicyclist's bicycle was damaged and the bicyclist refused medical attention.

At 12:04 p.m., Cambridge Police and Fire units responded to Alewife Brook Parkway for an unattended/suspicious suitcase. The suitcase was cleared by a bomb tech with a K-9. The bag was removed from the area for disposal.

A Cambridge resident came to the police station to report that she was the victim of identity theft. Yesterday, she received a call from someone claiming to be from the Social Security Administration and she gave them her Social Security Number and other personal info.

Cambridge Police responded to a residence on Francis Avenue for a report of a breaking and entering in progress at 2:58 p.m. Upon arrival, it was determined that a break-in had occurred at an unknown time. The residence was searched without success and nobody was located in the residence.

At approximately 10:20 p.m., a woman came to report a possible kidnapping. She stated that she was supposed to meet a female friend around 7:00 p.m. An hour later she exchanged text messages with the friend. The friend stated that she was at another female’s house and wasn’t allowed to leave. Then there were numerous texts back and forth for over two hours. The reporting person stated she does not know if it is her friend or the other female messaging. A well-being check was conducted on the friend, who is staying at a shelter

Officers responded to a call for a suspicious person in the area of Cedar Street and Massachusetts Avenue. Officers searched the area, but were not able to locate anyone or anything suspicious.
