B&E MV / BOAT NIGHTTIME FOR FELONY C266 S16

TEMPLE ST
At approximately 5:15 a.m., Cambridge Police responded to the area surrounding Temple Street for a report of an individual breaking into motor vehicles. Officers received a description of the suspect of a black male, wearing a blue shirt and a hat, and carrying a backpack. Upon arrival, Officers located an individual matching that description and began speaking with him. While Officers were speaking with the individual, other Officers spoke to a witness who stated that they observed him forcefully enter a motor vehicle and attempt to start the vehicle. Through further investigation, it was discovered that the vehicle in question did not belong to him. The individual was identified as Daryl Dickerson, 30 16 Walden Square Road in Cambridge, and the decision was made to place Dickerson under arrest and charge him with Breaking and Entering Motor Vehicle / Boat Nighttime With Intent to Commit Felony.

Cambridge Police responded a local mall for a report of a shoplifting call. A department store’s loss prevention employees observed a female conceal multiple articles of clothing in a baby carriage and exit the store. The total value of the stolen goods was approximately $582.50. The defendant, a Chelsea resident, is being summonsed to court for one count of Shoplifting By Asportation $250+.

Daryl Dickerson, 30, 16 Walden Square Street in Cambridge, was arrested for Shoplifting, Resisting Arrest and two counts of Assault and Battery on a Police Officer. Dickerson stole several items from a local pharmacy and proceeded to flee out of the pharmacy without paying. Dickerson assaulted the employee as well as two officers while being questioned
