Cambridge Police Daily Log: October 8^th, 2019
10/08/2019 05:16 INCIDENT 19007380 B&E MV / BOAT NIGHTTIME FOR FELONY C266 S16	TEMPLE ST At approximately 5:15 a.m., Cambridge Police responded to the area surrounding Temple Street for a report of an individual breaking into motor vehicles. Officers received a description of the suspect of a black male, wearing a blue shirt and a hat, and carrying a backpack. Upon arrival, Officers located an individual matching that description and began speaking with him. While Officers were speaking with the individual, other Officers spoke to a witness who stated that they observed him forcefully enter a motor vehicle and attempt to start the vehicle. Through further investigation, it was discovered that the vehicle in question did not belong to him. The individual was identified as Daryl Dickerson, 30 16 Walden Square Road in Cambridge, and the decision was made to place Dickerson under arrest and charge him with Breaking and Entering Motor Vehicle / Boat Nighttime With Intent to Commit Felony.

10/08/2019 09:16 INCIDENT 19007385 LARCENY OVER $250 BY FALSE PRETENSE C266 S34	THORNDIKE ST An Arlington resident reported that she was swindled out of $8000, while trying to secure an apartment in Cambridge.
10/08/2019 09:20 INCIDENT 19007386 REGISTRATION SUSPENDED / REVOKED, OP MV WITH C90	BRISTOL ST At approximately 9:20 a.m., Cambridge Police summonsed a Cambridge resident to Court for Revoked Insurance, while his vehicle was parked on a public way.
10/08/2019 11:04 INCIDENT 19007389 UTTER COUNTERFEIT NOTE C267 S10	CAMBRIDGE ST An employee for a local bank reported that an unknown patron uttered a counterfeit $100 U.S. dollar bill through one of their vendors/participants.

10/08/2019 12:53 INCIDENT 19007391 LARCENY OVER $1200 C266 S30	AMHERST ST At approximately 1:00 p.m., a construction company reported that between 09/28/2019 and 10/07/2019 some unknown persons stole two 16x8 steel plates from there construction site on Amherst Street.

She reported that a certain woman follows her seemingly everywhere she goes. It's been happening since 2011 and has happened far too often to be a coincidence.

10/08/2019 16:03 INCIDENT 19007400 LARCENY FROM PERSON C266 S25	MASSACHUSETTS AVE Officers responded to a Central Square business for the report of past larceny from a person.
10/08/2019 16:10 INCIDENT 19007398 LARCENY OVER $250 BY FALSE PRETENSE C266 S34	HURON AVE At approximately 3:50 p.m., a Cambridge resident came to the police station to report that he was the victim of some unknown person hacking into his and his spouse's accounts to commit several thefts.

10/08/2019 16:52 INCIDENT 19007403 LEAVE SCENE OF PROPERTY DAMAGE C90 S24	CONCORD AVE A female reported that an unknown individual hit her company motor vehicle and left the scene without leaving information.
10/08/2019 16:54 INCIDENT 19007406 SHOPLIFTING $250+ BY ASPORTATION C266 S30A	CAMBRIDGESIDE PL Cambridge Police responded a local mall for a report of a shoplifting call. A department store’s loss prevention employees observed a female conceal multiple articles of clothing in a baby carriage and exit the store. The total value of the stolen goods was approximately $582.50. The defendant, a Chelsea resident, is being summonsed to court for one count of Shoplifting By Asportation $250+.

10/08/2019 19:35 INCIDENT 19007410 SHOPLIFTING BY CONCEALING MDSE C266 S30A	JFK ST Daryl Dickerson, 30, 16 Walden Square Street in Cambridge, was arrested for Shoplifting, Resisting Arrest and two counts of Assault and Battery on a Police Officer. Dickerson stole several items from a local pharmacy and proceeded to flee out of the pharmacy without paying. Dickerson assaulted the employee as well as two officers while being questioned
