MASSACHUSETTS AVE
At approximately 3:18 a.m., Cambridge Police responded to a report of a hit and run with injuries in the vicinity of Massachusetts Avenue. The victim was transported to a local hospital for evaluation. The vehicle that fled was described as a small silver vehicle with tinted windows, possibly either a Toyota or Honda make.

At 1:12 p.m. a store employee reported that on 11/2/2019 at 7:30 p.m. an unknown suspect went into a Harvard Square business and stole merchandise valued at $692.

At approximately 2:30 p.m. the Cambridge Police Explosive Ordinance Unit responded to Holyoke Street for an unattended backpack. The backpack was cleared by the K9 and disposed of in the proper manner.

An employee of a local business reported that on 11/3/2019 between 4:30 p.m. and 4:35 p.m. two males entered the store and stole clothing items valued at approximately $1160.

CAMBRIDGE ST
Cambridge Police conducted a vehicle stop on a vehicle whose registered owner had an expired license. After further investigation, a Newton resident was identified as the operator of the vehicle and was summonsed to Cambridge District Court for Unlicensed Operation of a Motor Vehicle.

BINNEY ST
Cambridge Police conducted a motor vehicle stop after discovering that the vehicle's registration was expired. After further investigation, it was also discovered that the owner and operator of the vehicle was operating with a suspended license. The operator, a Charlestown resident, is being summonsed to Cambridge District Court for Operating After License Suspension and Unregistered Motor Vehicle.

Cambridge Police conducted a traffic stop at the intersection of Cambridge Street and Hampshire Street. Upon further investigation, John Lukyamuzi, 69, 105 Hopekins, Street in Wakefield, was placed under arrest for a warrant out of Waltham District Court for Operation a Motor Vehicle with a Suspended License.
