ECC received a 911 call stating a motor vehicle crash that went into a brick wall on Mass Ave. The single vehicle crash resulted in the driver and passenger being transported to local hospitals with serious injuries.

A resident of Erie Street reported while he was at a gathering at an unknown apartment of Cambridge Street his jacket was stolen. The jacket contained house keys and a set of rental car keys. The rental car, which he parked in the parking lot of Cambridge Street, was unable to be located.

A Cambridge resident reports an unknown suspect keyed the driver’s side door of their motor vehicle. The driver’s side door of the motor vehicle has deep scratch marks into the door.

COLUMBIA ST
Tiris McClure, 18, 341 Columbia Street in Cambridge, was placed into custody for Larceny under $1200 and Defacing Property, after he was observed picking up and tearing open a package belonging to another. While doing so, he damaged the contents of the package and fled upon observing the police. A brief foot pursuit ensued and an investigation was conducted by Cambridge Police Detectives resulting in the arrest of McClure. He was transported to the station where he was booked and advised of his rights.

GARDEN ST
Cambridge Police arrested Youssef Kirama, 32, 39 Boylston Street in Boston, for Assault and Battery on a Person Over 60 and Malicious Destruction of Property under $1200. Youssef walked up to the victim and grabbed his glasses from his face and broke them. Youssef then grabbed the victim by the throat causing a minor laceration. A witness saw Youssef's actions and confirmed the victim’s statement to police.

WARRANT ARREST REPORT

BISHOP ALLEN DR
Officers observed a white Honda sedan making an illegal left turn from Mass. Ave. onto Prospect Street. The vehicle was pulled over for the traffic violation. The operator, Rita Dacostasouza, 49, 520 Main Street in Malden, who is also the registered owner, was found to be operating the vehicle without a license and had a warrant issued on her for similar violation. She was subsequently placed under arrest for the warrant and the above offenses.
