Officers were dispatched to Chestnut Street for a report of found property after a backpack and jewelry were located on the street. Officers packaged up all the jewelry along with the contents of the bag, which contained two separate wallets, IDs and credit card items.

Officers were dispatched to the Green Street Parking Garage for a report of a suspicious person checking car doors to parked vehicles. The described suspect was observed by Officers walking away at a brisk pace heading towards Magazine Street and Carl Barron Plaza. The suspect then took off in a full sprint crossing Mass Ave without looking and causing motor vehicle traffic to come to a halt. The suspect was ultimately stopped by Officers near Essex Street.

Cambridge Police conducted a traffic stop and it was revealed the registered owner -- Hector Rosado-Aponte, 46, 194 Bay Drive in Sudbury – had a warrant for his arrest out of Roxbury District Court for Leaving the Scene of Property Damage, Negligent Operation of a Motor Vehicle and Failure to Stop/Yield. He was taken into custody.

Daniel Iandosca, 136 Bow Street in Everett, was arrested in the area of Cambridge Street and charged with Larceny under $1,200 and Operating a Motor Vehicle with a Suspended License after a Cambridge Police Officer observed him remove ten steel plates from a construction site. After a motor vehicle stop, it was revealed that Iandosca was operating a motor vehicle with a suspended license and also had a warrant out of Everett District Court for Operating a Motor Vehicle with a Suspended License and Failure to Stop.

Cambridge Police responded to the area Clifton Street for reports of a male suspect testing door handles/rummaging through motor vehicles. Shortly thereafter, Gearoid O’Connor, 35, 15 Longfellow Street in Boston, was stopped and placed under arrest after a victim identified O’Connor as the suspect. Furthermore, O’Connor dropped a brown opened mailer envelope belonging to another victim, who would later confirm a break to his motor vehicle on Rindge Avenue. O’Connor admitted to stealing the envelope from the motor vehicle. O’Connor was charged with Breaking and Entering to a Motor Vehicle - Daytime for Felony.

Troy Nieves, 32, 1 Parkway Court in Chelsea, was placed in custody for shoplifting after staff witnessed him leave store with unpaid merchandise. He also had warrants out of Boston District Court for Larceny Under $1,200, Trespassing, Possession of a Class E and B Drug, and Assault and Battery on a Police Officer.
