A Cambridge resident came to the police station to file a report for an attempted larceny. A new employer sent her a check to deposit and told her to then wire him back the money. She never deposited the check.

A Massachusetts Avenue resident reports vandalism to a motor vehicle, which occurred overnight.

Cambridge Police affected a motor vehicle stop in the area of Western Avenue. A New Hampshire resident was issued a Mass Uniform Citation for operating an uninsured motor vehicle on a public way and failing to stop for a new turn on red.

Cambridge Police conducted a motor vehicle stop on Concord Avenue at Chilton Street. As a result of the stop, a resident of Cambridge will be summonsed to Cambridge District Court for operating after revocation of registration and having an expired state inspection sticker.

A Millis resident came to the police station to file a police report for attempted larceny Over $1200. An unknown person(s) stole one of her checks from the mailbox, changed the amount and who it was made out to, and attempted to cash it. The bank would not process the check.

CAMBRIDGE ST
Cambridge Police responded to a Cambridge business at Cambridge Street for a report of an assault in progress. The suspect male fled the scene prior to police arrival. After an investigation, it was discovered that the suspect entered the store, started an argument over money, threatened the manager, and stole the manager's phone after an assault. The manager recovered his phone prior to the suspect fleeing.
