Michael Medeiros, 38, 259 Main Street in Pelham, NH, was arrested by the Cambridge Police after he swung a wooden stake at the face of another individual causing serious bodily harm. Medeiros was charged with Assault and Battery with a Dangerous Weapon.

Pema Tenzin, 22, 84 Alexander Avenue in Medford, was arrested on a public way in Harvard Square after witnesses observed him operating a motor vehicle erratically the wrong way down several roadways before coming to a stop. After an investigation revealed that he was under the influence of an intoxicating liquor and that he was unlicensed to operate a motor vehicle, he was placed under arrest for those offenses in addition to improper operation of a motor vehicle and negligent operation of a motor vehicle.

Enrique Santos, 49, 112 South Hampton Street in Boston, fled the store with merchandise but was stopped by Cambridge Police around Mass Ave. A loss prevention employee positively identified Santos as the individual who had shoplifted, and he was subsequently arrested for Shoplifting by Asportation.

Cambridge Police arrested Anna Rosen, 35, 19 Central Street in Somerville, for OUI-Liquor. Police were called to the intersection of Walden Street and Sherman Street for a report of a 2-3 car motor vehicle crash. Upon arrival, Officers found Rosen sitting in the driver's seat of her vehicle with the engine running. It was discovered that Rosen had crashed her vehicle into a parked vehicle on Sherman Street. Rosen was observed by officers to have slurred speech, glossy eyes, smelled moderately of an alcoholic beverage and stumbled numerous times while walking and standing. Rosen informed officers that she had 2-3 glasses of wine this night prior to driving. Rosen submitted to a series of Standardized Field Sobriety Tests and performed poorly during each test. At the station Rosen consented to submit to the chemical test to determine her BAC. Rosen subsequently registered a BAC of .256.
