On 02/12/2020, Cambridge Police responded to a Lee Street residence for a reported structure fire. Cambridge Fire Department responded and quickly extinguished a fire on a rear porch. No injuries reported at this time.

On 02/12/2020, a Cambridge resident was stopped operating a motor vehicle after a registration query revealed an expired status. The operator was issued a citation for the offense of operating a motor vehicle with an expired registration and unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle after a query revealed they did not have a valid license in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts.

On 2/12/2020, a resident of Medford was issued a criminal citation and summonsed for Unlicensed Operation of a Motor Vehicle after he was stopped for a making an Illegal Left Turn from Beacon Street onto Cambridge Street. During the stop it was discovered that the Medford resident was operating the vehicle while unlicensed.

On 2/12/2020, Cambridge Police conducted a motor vehicle stop. The motor vehicle stop occurred at the intersection of Mt. Auburn Street and Holyoke Street. A subsequent investigation revealed the stopped motor vehicle was revoked for insurance. The owner/operator of the motor vehicle, a resident of Boston, was summonsed to Cambridge District Court for operating an unregistered motor vehicle and operating an uninsured motor vehicle

On 02/12/2020, Cambridge Police conducted a motor vehicle stop on Prospect Street. As a result of the stop, Daisy Coo, 30, of 9 Seckel Street, Cambridge was placed under arrest for an active warrant issued out of Cambridge District Court for a single count of unregistered motor vehicle. In addition, Coo will also be charged with a single count of operating a motor vehicle on a public way while unlicensed.

On 02/12/20, a Pemberton Street resident reported a malicious destruction to his motor vehicle. The suspect smashed several windows on two separate vehicles owned by the victim.

On 2/12/2020, Cambridge Police conducted a traffic stop at the intersection of Harvard Street and Prospect Street. As a result of the stop, a Quincy resident was issued a citation for failure to stop at a red light, failure to stop for a pedestrian in a crosswalk, and open container of marijuana.

ALEWIFE BROOK PKWY
On 2/12/2020, Cambridge Police responded to a fight involving a knife at a business in Alewife Brook Parkway. Officers determined that one employee slashed another employee with a box cutter. After speaking to all the involved parties and a witness who observed the slashing, officers placed Jamie Edwards, 24, of 548 Park Street, Boston under arrest for Assault and Battery with a Dangerous Weapon.

On 02/12/2020, Cambridge Police arrested, Michael Taylor, 50, homeless of Cambridge, on a warrant out of Boston District Court for a single count of Larceny Under $1200.
