On 02/13/2020, Cambridge Police conducted a motor vehicle stop on Massachusetts Avenue at Waterhouse Street. Standly Miranda, 27, of 12 Decatur Street, Cambridge was observed operating a motor vehicle on Massachusetts Avenue and failed to stop at a red light. Officers discovered that Miranda's license was suspended and that he had a previous operation after license suspension conviction. Officers then placed Miranda under arrest for Operating After License Suspension, Subsequent Offense and Failing to Stop at a Red Light.

On 2/13/2020, Cambridge Police responded to Garden Street and Stearns Street A neighbor had advised emergency communications that they passed by a house known to be under renovation that appeared to have its back garden door and window open. The neighbor believed that the house may have been broken into. Upon arrival Cambridge Police encountered an individual, later identified as Christopher Loucks, 34, homeless of Cambridge, facing towards the house with his back facing the street. After running his information it was confirmed that he had an active warrant out of Cambridge District Court for Carrying a Dangerous Weapon and Possession of Class A Drug and was subsequently placed under arrest. The individual's girlfriend was found walking out of a port-a-potty inside the fenced area of the property and admitted she had entered to shoot up heroin. When asked where the heroin was, she stated that it was in her pocket. The heroin was seized and the female, identified as Jennifer Bailey, 41, homeless of Cambridge, was placed under arrest for Possession of a Class A Drug. After searching Loucks’ belongings he was found to be in possession of four counterfeit $100 dollar bills, and will be charged with Possession of Counterfeit Notes in addition to the warrant arrest.

MASSACHUSETTS AVE
On 2/14/2020, Laurent Joseph, 19, of 32 Havlock Street, Dorchester, was arrested and charged with Trespassing, Misuse of RMV Document (Impersonation, Interfering with a Police Officer (Common Law), Assault and Battery on a Police Officer, Resisting Arrest, Disorderly Conduct, and a warrant out of Malden District Court for Disorderly Conduct. Joseph was arrested after he was told to leave a night club in Cambridge by staff for not having proper identification, then returning to the same establishment an hour later with a different identification card. It was later discovered that Joseph was using someone else's Massachusetts driver license to impersonate them. When an officer escorted Joseph out of the night club and tried to investigate the fact that Joseph was using someone else's identification, Joseph interfered with that investigation by assaulting the officer. Joseph resisted arrest for some time causing a large group to gather in front of the club, causing the sidewalk to be obstructed and business to the night club to halt.

The operator, identified as Sara Billingsley, 55, of 61 Richfield Street, Arlington, showed signs of impairment and was subsequently placed under arrest for a Marked Lanes Violation and Operating Under the Influence of Liquor, Subsequent Offense.

On 02/14/2020 Coleman O'Doherty, 71, of 112 East Teaticket Highway, East Falmouth, was arrested for warrants out of Falmouth District Court for Possession of a Class C Drug and Possession of a Class A Drug and one count of assault and battery. O'Doherty was arrested after officers received a report of a shoplifting, and upon identifying the suspect as O'Doherty, discovered that he had two active warrants for his arrest. After further investigation it was also determined that O'Doherty had assaulted a victim by spitting on their face before entering the store.

On 2/16/2020, Landers Ivey, 60, of 28 York Street, Dorchester, was arrested at Sidney Street and Putnam Avenue on charges of Operating a Motor Without a License and Possession with Intent to Distribute Cocaine - Subsequent Offense. Following a motor vehicle stop, it was determined that Ivey did not have a valid driver's license and was placed under arrest. A search of his person and the motor vehicle revealed 8 individual baggies of suspected crack cocaine and $1426.00 U.S. currency. Ivey has a number prior convictions for drug distribution offenses.

On 2/16/2020, Cambridge Police responded to a Mass Ave restaurant after a 911 caller stated that they were threatened by a party with a knife. When officers arrived on scene, the caller made themselves known and identified a male riding away on a bicycle as the threatening party. Officers were able to track down the party and confirmed that he was the suspect after a show up was conducted. The suspect was identified as David Moro, 41, of 268 Washington Street, Somerville. Moro was arrested and is being charged in Cambridge District Court with two counts of Assault with a Dangerous Weapon.

Ramirez also had a warrant out of Lowell District Court for Possession of a Class B Drug, and warrants out of Chelsea District Court for two counts of Operating a Motor Vehicle with a Suspended License, one count of Motor Vehicle Lights Violation, one count of Speeding in Violation of a Special Regulation, one count of Possession of a Class A Drug, and one count of Conspiracy to Violate a Drug Law.

Brandon Webbe, 30, of 35 Barry Street, Dorchester was subsequently placed under arrest for Possession with Intent to Distribute Class D Drug and Operating a Motor Vehicle with a Suspended Registration following a tow inventory search of the motor vehicle revealed Webbe was in possession of a Class D substance with tools / instruments consistent with intent to distribute a Class-D substance.
