Cambridge Police responded to the intersection of Green Street and Brookline Street for a motor vehicle crash. One of the operators, a Bellingham resident, will be summonsed to court for operating without a license. There were no reported injuries.

Cambridge Police responded to a Porter Square grocery store on a report of a disturbance. It was learned that a homeless female was spitting and yelling "she hopes she has Covid so she can spread it." The female was removed from the store and will be summonsed to court on charges of disorderly conduct and attempt to commit a crime.

Police responded to Second Street after a resident reported an unknown male was refusing to leave their backyard. Upon arrival the male, Shukry Juma, 29, 41 Corey Street in Charlestown, was located in the backyard and found to have illegal drugs on his person. Juma was placed under arrest for Trespassing and Possession of a Class B controlled substance.

Cambridge Police responded to the vicinity of Oak Street for a ShotSpotter Activation. Officer’s spoke with several witnesses and utilized a K9 to search for physical evidence. Investigation is ongoing, but there is no evidence of a shooting.

Cambridge Police responded to reports of a disturbance on Western Ave. Witnesses stated that they observed a male punch two individuals in the face before jumping on a car and intentionally causing heavy damage to the entire front windshield. The involved male was identified and summonsed to court for Aggravated Assault & Battery, Assault & Battery, and Malicious Damage to Motor Vehicle.
