Joshua Lofton, 26, homeless, was placed under arrest on warrants for Possession of a Class E Drug and Receiving Stolen Property Less than $1,200 out of Cambridge District Court.

RIVER ST
Sean McNulty, 32, Manhattan, NY, was arrested at River Street and charged with Larceny of a Motor Vehicle, Wanton Destruction of Property Over $1200, Reckless Operation of a Motor Vehicle, Leaving the Scene of a Motor Vehicle Crash, Causing Property Damage and Unlicensed Operation of a Motor Vehicle. Earlier in the morning, McNulty had stolen a Public Works truck in South Boston. He drove the stolen truck to River Street in Cambridge where he crashed into a fence and fled on foot. He was apprehended a short distance from the crash.

HAMILTON ST
A resident of Cambridge states an unknown suspect called his cell phone on 5/5/2020 claiming to be a lawyer who represented a student of his. This suspect stated the student was involved in a motor vehicle crash and needed $18,800. The resident withdrew the exact amount of requested money from his bank account and met with the suspect to give the money to that suspect. The resident later realized he had been scammed when he actually spoke with his student, who stated she was not in a crash and she did not need the money.

A resident of Cambridge states an unknown suspect gained access to her credit card and performed an unauthorized cash transfer to another unknown bank account. The amount transferred was $1,080.17.

A resident of Cambridge was charged and summonsed for Indecent Exposure after she was observed on video camera urinating in the doorway of a Central Square business.

While conducting traffic enforcement at Cambridge Street and Oak Street, Officers observed a gray Mazda with an expired inspection sticker and registration sticker. The vehicle was stopped near the intersection of Columbia and Cambridge. The driver was identified and was summoned to court for unlicensed operation and an expired inspection sticker, as well as an expired registration sticker.

A resident of Cambridge states an unknown suspect gained access to his credit card. The suspect made two unauthorized charges on 12/5/2019, both to "Stub Hub"; one charge in the amount of $115.57 and the second in the amount of $118.26. Their card has since been closed.

A resident of Cambridge states an unknown suspect gained entry into her apartment building's vestibule and stole two of her packages. The RP states the theft occurred sometime between 5/8/2020 evening and 5/9/2020 morning. The stolen packages had a combined worth of $80.
