Cambridge Police Explosive Ordnance Disposal Unit responded to Massachusetts Avenue and Trowbridge Street for a report of an unattended bag on a park bench. Upon arrival the bag was cleared by K9 Rumba and Tango 7. The bag contained no information as far as the owner and had soiled clothing and miscellaneous personal care items in it. The bag was disposed of at the DPW yard in a dumpster to prevent further calls or the same item.

A resident of Somerville reports that an unknown person used a rock to smash the rear windshield of their 2011 Subaru Outback. The Subaru was parked on a meter in front of the 2000 block of Mass. Ave. It was parked there on 6/25/20 at 7:45 p.m. and was found damaged on 6/26/20 at 7:25 a.m. Nothing appears to be missing.

Cambridge Police arrested Christopher Hagins, 40, 820 Massachusetts Avenue in Cambridge, for drinking in public. Officers observed Hagins drinking in public and informed him that it is illegal and arrestable. Hagins minutes later bought more alcohol and drank again in front of officers.
