Officers received a call from a Cambridge resident. The resident informed me that between the dates of 07/21/2020 thru 07/23/2020 while his car was parked at the corner of Main Street and Portland Street, an unknown person smashed his rear tail light of his motor vehicle.

A Cambridge resident reported that they had parked their car in their shared driveway on 7/22/2020 at approximately 9:30 p.m. On 07/23/2020 at 8:30 a.m., they noticed that an unknown person had poured construction grade adhesive to her car doors. They also said that acid was poured on the roof of the car damaging the paint.

An employee of a wireless store located at CambridgeSide reported the theft of a watch on July 23, 2020 at approximately 2 p.m. An unknown suspect stole a Samsung Galaxy Smart watch sometime during business hours on July 21, 2020. The watch was valued at $400.

An Orchard Street resident reported hit-and-run property damage to his motor vehicle on July 23, 2020 at approximately 2:10 p.m. An unknown suspect struck his 2015 Ford Focus sometime overnight while it was parked at the corner of Orchard and Davenport Street. The victim's vehicle sustained damage to the front left quarter panel and bumper.

A Rindge Avenue resident reported the theft of a bicycle on July 23, 2020 at approximately 5:10 p.m. A suspect stole her son's bicycle from a secure area of her building. The bike was described as a blue and green BMX style kids' bike.

A Sixth Street resident reported the theft of packages on July 23, 2020 at approximately 5:50 p.m. A suspect stole two packages on July 21, 2020 between 11:10 a.m. and 1:30 p.m. UPS had confirmed their delivery on that date. The victim believes they were taken from her buildings' mailroom, which is under video surveillance.

A Belmont resident left a Central Square convenience store and left her wallet behind. At approximately 8:15 p.m. she noticed her wallet was missing and returned to the store to find it had a 8 p.m. closing time. She returned the next morning, but the store did not have it.

GARDEN ST
A Somerville resident reported the theft of his family’s bicycle on July 23, 2020 at approximately 8:50 p.m. The 2016 specialized Vita had been locked to a rack on the Massachusetts Avenue side of the Cambridge Common between 3 and 5 p.m. this afternoon. The bike was indigo with silver lettering and had a rack attached over the rear tire.
