THORNDIKE ST
A resident of Cambridge states sometime between 9/1/2020 at 6 p.m. and 9/2/2020 at 7:30 a.m. an unknown suspect broke into her vehicle overnight. The suspect ransacked the inside of the victim’s vehicle and stole $5 in U.S. currency from the center console.

MAGAZINE ST
Matthew Stevenson, 26, 104 Magazine Street in Cambridge, was arrested and charged with Assault and Battery with a Dangerous Weapon, Assault and Battery on a Person over 60 and Malicious Destruction of Property. After an investigation, it was determined that Stevenson assaulted the victim by pushing a door into him several times causing the victim to fall back against the wall. Stevenson forcefully grabbed the victim by the arms and pushed him out of the front door of the house. This Officer observed damage to the front locking mechanism, which allowed Stevenson unauthorized access to the building.

An employee states an unknown suspect stole solar panels and solar equipment from a location on Western Avenue. The stolen equipment were secured to a pole on the sidewalk. The cables securing the equipment to the pole had been cut by an unknown suspect.
