A resident of Somerville was summonsed to Cambridge District Court for Shoplifting by Asportation. Officers responded to a Massachusetts Ave establishment due to management calling for an active shoplifting in progress. Officers observed the suspect walking away from the store with management following and dropping the merchandise on the sidewalk when she saw the police approaching.
